Hi mate, great video, thanks. Could you tell me what transducer you're using please? I've just upgraded to a Lowrance HDS Pro but the 3 in 1 transducer it came with seems to be struggling in anything over 40m. Thanks again, I'm relatively new to boating and videos like this are really useful! (Albany WA)
You should have just welded it up. We weld them up all the time on site, the boys flog the utes and we just grind it out and weld it up as we don't stock them on site so it's a quick fix just to get us through. But good job mate showed some patience to get job done.
Not convinced that drag is the right way to go. Interceptors dissipate the energy, trim tabs redirect the flow of water, efficiency is certainly different.

Haha thanks mate! I do sleep - just tends not to be the day of fishing....tend to have a few mishaps consistently pushing my schedule out ⚰️. The reels I don't have plans to restock mate. Tbh weren't a massive seller so will stick to the other goods at this stage.
Glad someone likes the sounder shots! Never know what to include and skip...too bad there wasn't enough fishing content to utilise ha. Oh I like to keep the areas under wraps mate but I would say all the remote areas of WA are just as beautiful, just gotta get out there!
Wow what a mission that is massive - never turn down an adventure. The drive alone and mission across and back on the boat then the car and boat dramas hooley you earned it most mere mortals would probably have called it but you were super committed. How is stepping on a trim tab gonna damage it lol. A 40ft 10k lb boat doing over 100 is dealing with ahelluva lot more force than a 200lb man stepping on it
