My channel covers various types of fishing from both Kayak and Shorefront. My main focus is on Summer Flounder contained in the beautiful waters surrounding Long Island N.Y. I have caught 1284 Striped Bass in my career (with too many Bluefish to even count) as well as many other species. I am definitely no stranger to targeting various fish other than Summer Flounder but Fluke are my number one true love. Since buying my first Gopro and starting this channel a short time ago very few of my past Striper conquest’s were caught on video. Very importantly, I do not use live or traditional bait. All of my fishing is done with “single” jigheads, fake baits and no fish finder. I truly enjoy making something from nothing. Shorelines, Kayaks, a manual pedal drive, fishing pole, fishing reel, braided line, jigheads and fake bait is what I’m all about. So if you like seeing substantial quantities of Fluke being swung over side of a fishing kayak and into a fish bag this is the channel for you.
As someone who sees whites often while surfing in so cal, I have yet to see one somehow get its body out of the water, to the sand, maul an unlucky soul on the sand and somehow get back into the ocean. And don’t forget, the camera man never dies!
got mine car topped, she is pretty heavy , on top an old Rav4, yours goes up way easier than mine, Yak Attack does have some nice gear, theres a drop motor mount for the front Im looking at ( through the peddle gear slot)
I just paddle to get out to deeper water to be able to deploy the peddle drive. I’ve paddled it before though and was able to move pretty well. Keep in mind it is a bit heavy but the weight and width is perfect for overall stability. I would get the peddle drive and a trolling motor if you want the extra power. It tracks very well for a big kayak.
