Great insight in to what looks to have been a great trip. Each time I watch makes me want to head out and ride! Looking forward to the NC500. Hope the weather is kind!
@@davidfoote506 thanks Dave, it was an incredible trip and not done with Ireland! NC500 on Thursday, hoping for good weather and have just borrowed a drone for some different footage! Thanks for watching, sir!
That's really a wonderful ride-out tour view. Thanks for showing us around this beautiful Ireland scenery. Well done, my good friend. Keep sharing this wonderful upload with us

Great video David. Very informative. I’m debating wether I need the adaptive suspension or not.. how is the ride? Firm? How is it on motorways? Thanks again. Nick
Nick Howard thanks for the comment, apologies like I have to do for everyone re the sound! Motorway was absolutely fine, I drive an M135i with adaptive suspension everyday, do I really need it? Not really... You’ll love it either way, absolute monster!!
Good review mate, this car is my first BMW, last two cars being Audi S3 (B8) and Audi S4 (3.0 supercharged) performance wise its better than the S3 about the same as the S4 but much better fuel economy than both, Eco Pro is docile but ideal for fuel efficient day to day driving, but now and again it's nice to have the sport + option to remind you there is a 3.0L Straight 6 lump under bonnet!
What a frustrating video to watch, for somebody that's interested in the 330d X drive M sport this video is a total waste of time......shame as it could've so easily been the opposite!
Guys, apologies... it was a good few years ago, sound is a big issue, totally accept that! First time with a Go Pro and editing video so it was never going to be great!
Saving up the pennies for a second hand one. Any suggestions as to what to look out for when purchasing a second hand 330d Msport? Drive a Saab 2.3t SE estate at the moment, and will never part with the Saab, but still the 330d M sport, for me, looks to be the greatest car, all round, ever built.
Great review, your review and a few comments on a BMW forum have convinced me, but will stick to the standard M Sport wheels. Engine sounds great. Thanks
I think the only things missing from this car model is a subscription tracker and a high-end, non-factory alarm/immobiliser. I would buy another smaller set of wheels to use while I own it and keep the 20's for when it comes time to sell and clamp a wheel while it's in my garage/drive. There's a lot to be said for adding good visual deterrents, even if they only delay the inevitable 30 second key scan theft. There's even more to be said about ensuring that the owner's property is effectively secured and that the UK's exit ports are better educated and funded to prevent illegal exports, as I wouldn't fancy receiving any parts of the car back from Eastern Europe once it has been stripped to pieces in the UK and systematically exported. So apart from that, it's a good car when driven and maintained properly and the only thing which lets the car down, are the sales target hungry BMW dealerships and their awful reputations. Buy privately and service at a decent garage, as it's just a car.
Test drove a 330D to replace my 2 litre petrol 3 series. When I saw this video it was uncanny how your comments echoed precisely my thoughts after the test drive. Ordered one with the Sport+ pack. Had it a week now - what a fantastic machine! I never thought I could love a diesel auto - but it's just a brilliant piece of engineering
I pick up my new 330d M Sport in Sapphire Black with 19" wheels and bi xenons in a week or so, I couldn't afford any other options because I'm poor :-(
I ordered mine on the 12th of September and I am collecting it on Monday 01/12/2014. The delay is the brake disk upgrade associated with the plus pack according to my dealer.
if you are going to review a car please check the facts!!! "twin turbo whoosh" the 330d only has 1 turbo, it's the 335d thats twin. split screen say nav, has been an option for years, had it in my e90. Nice car though, I pick my 330d x drive m sport touring in a few days :-)
