Nah man, the claw was definitely the handheld i wanted but the performance in comparison to the AMD options out there is terrible. Maybe driver updates will fix a lot of this in the future but for now stay away from the MSI Claw.
Thats Has something to do with the shader cache, changing spu thread to 3or4 helped. Beat the level, look around the level to build shader cache and then restart rpcs3 and play the game again. also write color buffers helps with the shader
hey! my game just crashes like every 10 or maybe 20 minutes. it says "Assertion Failed! Vulkan API call failed with unrecoverable error: Device lost (Driver crashed with unspecified error or stopped responding and recovered) (VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST)". did you have something like this? i have i5 11400f and gtx 1070
What's the word boss, is this game worth the $20 they're asking on Steam? I've watched a few gameplay vids and still not sure. Is it true it has PvE modes with AI squad mates you can boss around like the old Ghost Recon games had? That's all I'm really looking to do these days because my PCs too old to play any PvP competitively.
its eff worth it, its still in early access but the online play & solo missions make the fights intense, also online has friendly fire lol be careful, the dudes I played with were strict
Do you remember what settings you were using? I have Write Color Buffers enabled as suggested in a Google search and my car has it's proper graphics in the garage but once on the track it's all black. EDIT: Apparently it's sporadic. I restarted the game and it was fine. Very odd.
Yup rpcs3 unfortunately is like that, one moment the game doesn't work properly, then after a restart of rpcs3, everything works fine, infamous 2 has that problem during the boat stage
For the win4, games work amazing, I barely have to touch the settings. But for certain games, playing with the spu thread, changing to 3to4, this game, I build up the shader cache in the city, close rpcs3, open the game again, and everything worked great. First level, pretty much the same process, just move the camera around to build the shader for the level
@@kingk0bra896 So firstly this is played on Steam Deck with Steam OS, the specs should be online. I have tried clicking write color buffers but it still happens where I get a colorful mess on the latest RPCS3 and a crash whenever I go to buy a character. Further help is appreciated!
@@christophergravelle885 okay the steam deck, the deck try playing with the spu tread 3-4 should be good and in the gpu tab, check to make sure the resolution scale threshold isn't above 55x55, on the deck i personally leave it at default with this game, also try Asynchronous texture streaming option(alone) and then with write color buffers
@@kingk0bra896 So i tried that out but it's still a colorful mess when trying to play the game. the intro and main menu is fine until i press any button while at the main menu, any other suggestions? Edit: clean install of emu + redownloaded rom made it work normally!
The O.G. supporter! Hope all is well and nope, for me I can play none stop all modes, I'm using a ryzen 5(gpd win 4) the processor works perfect for the rpcs3
Are you getting it mainly for the deck? Because it works perfect with a i5 laptop(the Gpd win 3) can run this. So don't buy it just for the deck because it'll ruin your experience with the game, the game is amazing, you want to be able to enjoy the graphics in all, I recommend the game for anything else but the Steam deck and I love the steam deck
For the deck, force the resolution to 1280x780, if not, it'll glitch, I had that problem, graphics can be set to max, for the controls (enable controller support) right side(controller icon) sorry the late response
I used to write color buffers, picked an arena I haven't tried, let the shader cache build, reset the game, arena and everything in it, should appear normal, my cars were pitch black, then I used the method above, game works great, specs ryzen 5
@@kingk0bra896 i tried that but there’s still some issues with it. like when i make a car and use it in a race you can only see some of it depending on the angle, and the rest is black. inside line is perfect though so idk
as long as your playing on a stage where you build the shader cache up, you wont crash. I played vs mode with each level, build the cache up and i hav'nt crashed yet, even in story mode, also if you have vibrate on, turn that off(controller settings)
