In my old taekwondo class, there was a black belt who had the most beautiful kicks. As a brown belt, I used to beat him regulary in sparring, but his kicks were spectacular in exhibitions.
What's the purpose of "picking shells"? If u can't eat it, decorate with it or make some money off it then alls I can say is: is this supposed to be one of those " things that make ya go hmmm"?
@muxblox I thought it was difficult to achieve a black belt? From what I Understand 3 to 5 years To achieve a blue belt and about ten years for a blackbelt???
@muxblox I pulled this from Google. The average duration can differ when it comes to various types of martial arts. The longest time taken to earn a first degree black belt is 27 years while the shortest training period recorded was 4 years. Going by this study, you can say that it can take anywhere from 5 years to 25 years of rigorous practice.
Ummm wow, why are these kids all have black belts. I was on martial arts for over 15 years and trained with a real 10th degree master and to get a black belt the correct way was not allowed until you were at least 16 years old. That was back in the good days where you didn’t get participation trophies, you earned them. These kids did not earn their black belts yet. Proof is in there terrible forma
