Is there anyway to tell between fungus and urine from passing animals? I have this issue on my front lawn and a specific area. It does not really spread but it is a significant area. Is that one way to know.
Thanks for your question! Yes, fungus will spread. If the issue is contained in the same spot, it is either an irrigation issue or the ammonia in the urine. One quick way to tell is to smell the lawn. You will know in a hurry if it’s the animals. If it is animals you can try a urine and odor neutralizer. (K9 Corrector or Sunday Pet Patch: amzn.to/4ciA4Zm)Hope that helps!
Thanks. Very helpful, guess ami need to adjust my cable where it pass on the side of the control, got some loose on my cable before it's start to engage.
Thank you! I have tried it both ways and have gotten the same great results. Either prune them at the end of the blooming season (end of fall before it freezes if in a cold climate), or prune them at the very beginning of the spring season (before any blooms or leaves start and when it starts to thaw if in a cold climate)
Thank you! They are very hearty and grow easily. They are east facing and require a fair a mount of water. I also fertilize with a mix specific to hydrangeas such as this one: amzn.to/3UoQ58q
@@lemonbranchdiy Thanks so much! I have one but don't get nearly as many blooms :) Still love it, but yours is inspiring! I haven't fertilized so I'll try that.
Great questions! This is a Sunbrella brand. It is 10’ square and pretty big. It does ok in a slight wind but we do have to put it down when the wind kicks up.
Thanks for teaching about fungus on lawn. How do I tell if the fungus on my lawn is good fungus or bad fungus? It is on the surface after overseed and extra watering for germination. How do I tell if it is the good mycorrhiza type since I have been trying to inoculate with the strains of mycorrhiza. Should I still use a fungicide? Can I send a photo please? thank you.
Thank you for the video. It was informative. I recently put in my first hydrangea (clay soil). A few leaves turned yellow and the nursery told me i was overwatering. I slowed down and now wonder if I have a deficiency. The more blooms come in, the more yellow leaves.
Hi! My new hydrangeas are turning yellow and look terrible because I believe they are being overwatered. Any suggestions on how to fix overwatering? Unfortunately, we have thick clay soil. :(
Hi! Thanks for your question. If you think they are overwatered, are they in an area that has good drainage? If not, you may want to replant them to a new location. Next, decrease the watering frequency. Water deeply, but less often. With clay soil, it. may be alkaline. You can add an acid fertilizer to help make it more acidic or a solution of citric acid and water. That will balance out the soil and help decrease the yellow leaves. Good luck!
Hey there. Like helps to increase ph (less acidic) which helps your soil be more alkaline and give hydrangeas the pink color. Maki bf it more acidic would be adding aluminum sulfur which would make it more acidic by dropping the ph to get blue blooms. Also if you are using fertilizer for azaleas etc you are likely counteracting the line you added as the fertilizer likely has sulfur in it to help acid loving plants and would normally help to drop your ph.
Thanks so much for taking the time to create this video, it was really helpful. I've been trying to figure out if I have a fungus and this video gave me a few insights I hadn't come across before.
Woohoo thank you so much! And to think they wanted a hundred bucks to fix this! I'm certainly no mechanic but with your help, I had it together in less than an hour. I love my lawn mower and was so sad when this broke and I was reduced to a POS Craftsman lawn mower with front-wheel drive.
Wow! Cool! Thanks alot. I was googling for something like this... I was almost tempted to google for a workshop instead, but when I found this video, I got some good idea how to replace clutch cable. I have a Honda IZY HRG536C, some differences, but the idea was exactly the same! Wife has smaller fingers so she did the attachment thing inside. :-D
Yes! I indeed have the very same problem ! You saved us all a pile of cash ,and I speak for most all of us ... Thank you Sr. And son ....good job !!! Don't stop ! You do a great Service . KW.
