You young gentleman conduct yourself with more dignity in the field and after the shot than many older hunters I have seen. You are setting good examples.
Guys if the dog ain't treed I don't kill the squirrels and what i seen through the video is your killing the squirrels before your dog is even treed or i sure don't hear her. I got a
New sub. Love squirrel hunting. Born and raised in Logan till 2010 and moved fir work to Virginia. My backyard had atleast 10 squirrels in it every morning lol. Still make it Pocahontas with my brother.
We always shot squirrels with a 22 only head shots, my dad wouldn't stand for shooting them in the ass or guts, no dog either ,they were dead before they hit the ground. Didn't want no dog chewing them up.
We've hunted them that way too, we just think hunting with a dog is fun, and she usually doesn't break through their fur with her bites. She just likes to shake them around.
Congrats on a nice deer and on a great hunt!! Like that crossbow, looks like a Wicked Ridge, not sure. Thanks for sharing, I know your dad is proud!! Juddie - J & J TOA
Thank you! We use the low down hunting seat by Fanatic Outdoors. We usually use them for turkey hunting but due to now have a stand up in the area yet, we used it instead of sitting on the ground or in a blind. Here is the link to the seat! www.fanaticoutdoors.com/product/low-down-hunting-seat/
