Our ongoing coverage of lifestyle, food, spirits, style, and specialty events in Toronto keep us busy, and we’re proud to work with top international brands throughout the year, and especially for our annual Holiday Gift Guide in late November.
LOVED Pearl Mackie in 'The Long Call', a real natural actress and convincing in her role. She really suited the character. Hope to see her in a lot more stuff and I really wish they would do a follow up to this series. Think 'The Heron's Cry' is the 2nd one. Enjoy the Matthew Venn books and I'd like to see more of them televised.
@@Go_n_shogi"Entertainers." So that's what y'all are calling grifters now. It's hilarious that you came here to announce you watch garbage channels run by garbage people whose entire platforms are based on attacking anything and everyone that doesn't look like them or cater to them. That's what's pathetic, dude.
@@Mirakulus9 It’s odd to attack someone over a TV show. It’s more odd to wrap your identity up in a tv show. You should look inward and figure out where that bitterness is coming from.
@@alphanerd7221 Not the teenage superhero Wiccan/Billy Kaplan/Maximoff from the comics. Only as a little boy, so not the same. And now he's being played by Joe Locke who is a really talented actor.
I love that they filmed the series in the city the books were set in. I grew up in North Bay, and the city is recognizable in the books - it would have been very disconcerting if it had been filmed anywhere else, lol!
i saw many Storage Wars before the Northern show. At first I was attracted by the different variety compared to the U.S. Down South storage I really disliked. Hollywood and Southern Cal was interesting but this one had great stuff and then the cast was like working together which made it almost a reality/comedy show. And I still like it. i say Ursula! Like she is a familiar cute neighbor or something. It's serious but charming too.
