Hey, um, Xeenon, this may be a dumb question but uhhh why don't you just skip the animation for getting out of the bed? Does Witt or the other mods not allow this or something because I remember I had Bitsau ask Witt about the legality of the mask audio skip and he said it was okay to use? Am I just not understanding this run or something?
It should be totally legal I think, I just wasn’t aware that it was possible to skip it. I found out that one could also join the red haezee and then exit to skip the animation. Mask audio is really only useful in this run for the door down to the nightclub on the casino finale, picking up stuff like the location of the party or the footage in the nightclub I didn’t see it working. @@Xeenon77 Well, I wouldn't say it's completely useless though since the animation costs you like 3 seconds and you can skip it automatically and lose literally no time just by holding down caps or whatever the quickplay action button is while loading into the agency. But yeah congrats on the run man.

@@Xeenon77 Yeah, man, it's all good. I thought that's what you meant but at the same time I just forgot to actually explain how to skip the bed animation in my original comment since pressing caps can result in your character failing to skip the bed animation as opposed to holding it down where you skip it like 100% of the time. So, it seemed like responding like that was the best move for me since I don't really know a way that sounds fluent. But, yes, I have faith in you to lower it. If the cutscene skip was allowed, I'd know you would have beaten Vil by now and gotten the record. But thank you for responding to me.

No it is possible on all platforms, you just have to make search for a random job and cancel the search again. That’s why you can see me pull out the phone and before each prep which happens in freemode.
@@ti-8493 go for warping, much more consistent and even easier to do. Can’t tell you how often I’ve forgotten to get an invite before the mission. Do a regular warp there
Yes, I would be faster. That does however disqualify me from the official leaderboard. One could also switch apartments but it’s just not a valid strategy. I’m going for a valid run, not the fastest time
@@sayanmukherjee9285 just buy it mid run, for some leaks it’s better to host from one nearer downtown. This however is very expensive to switch (basically millions thrown out the window each time you do it)
I'm quitting this game cause I'll never be this good. No point in playing a game that makes you grind your soul away to make numbers go up so you can vanish them in an instant for a moving collection of polygons.
You should see my very early runs and the most recent runs. I started out just to get some money quick but then I found the fun in getting better and better times and meeting people along the way. Discussing strats trying new stuff, showing things you found to others, it’s not always getting the best run but rather finding out the most strategic approach. For me gtao speedruning is a problem solving game. When I see a run that’s fully fletched out and can’t be improved I feel just as doomed as you do, that feeling of thinking someone has done something perfect and wanting to come paired with it is a bad feeling. But slowly stepping up finding the thing that makes a run better is the real pleasure. My tip, just do what you like, find a thing that you feel like you are good at and fits your level, how about speedrun some old gta mission and get a good time and then move to the long runs? For me the value doesn’t come from just the money or my rp level in the game, it comes from the knowledge built up and the countless runs and friends along the way. Gtao made me feel at the right place and maybe for you that’s a different game or the game your friends play. Who knows? Maybe gaming ain’t even for you and you are good at sports? What do I know, do the thing that makes you happy
Just a little like how do u know you are going to the right location while warping, i’m pretty sure you can 2 locations of vernon in south central setup 1 and 2 locations of yacht in high society setup 2
I don’t know which location I’ll get, I just teleport to one and hope it’s the right one, like at 21:30 I get the wrong one and quickly wake to the other location there is.
