I have problem in using glidescope for infant. After I saw the vocal cord, I cannot pass the tube inside the mouth. Because there is no space for the tube to put inside!?
very helpful video on anesthesiology intubation steps: 1. look at mouth to insert laryngosope 2. look at screen to get best glottic view 3. look at mouth to insert endotracheal tube, stop when reaches same level with larygoscope 4. look at monitor to intubate!
i really liked the about this no need for lateral tongue displacement look at MOUTH to avoid hitting tonsils, dont focus on screen optimal view is upper 1/3 of screen, also to see blood etc on airway very nice device <3
That’s usually the problem with the glidescope: view is perfect, but there’s virtually no room left in the mouth for the tube because of the relatively large handle.
