Hi :) I used 1/2" plywood for the drawers to get as much space as possible for stuff. I wouldn't go thinner than that, but 1/2 works great! And yes, drawerslides come in all different lengths. You want to get one that is the same length as your drawer box, tho mine were a little shorter because they were 2nd hand.
as someone who tries new woodworking projects I so appreciate this video showing all of your thinking etc. I'm excited to turn my pantry into a sliding drawer pantry!!!!
It is the little things that make life better. You are right about that! Good job! My dad built pull-out drawers for my lower cupboards years ago. The only thing better is the pantry he built in between the wall studs.
Yaaaaaaaasssss!! You crushed that! It looks so good! 😍😍 Also, those baskets!? **chef's kiss** you deserve to be wildly proud of yourself. Awesome job!....and thanks for the motivation to keep trucking along with my own projects 😩
This is the best I've seen in using such spaces. Makes absolute sense to build a shoe storage like that because most people use the baskets for shoes but what you designed here is perfection👌 Wow! Great job😊
I can 100% believe you could do this!! Aaaah det blir så sjukt fint, och HELT rätt beslut att måla listerna runt dörren 🙌 Och när du slipat träbordet? Drog efter andan, träet är ju sjukt fint. Mums vad bra det här blir! Ser så lyxigt ut
Great tip on the nail placement marking. I've not seen anyone not use a caulking gun. Looks great, especially the framing. I can't wait for the next video🤗
Looks great! I enjoy seeing the thought process and how you figure things out along the way. If you want, you can make your mitre saw tape hack more permanent by getting (or making) a "zero clearance insert" for your mitre saw. You replace that yellow throat piece with one that has no hole blade cut out, then make the cut through it, so it's exactly the position and thickness of the blade.
Ooh thank you! That is definitely what I need, and now I know what to search for. Do you have to use different ones for a straight vs bevel cut? Like switch them out depending on the cut you make?
Binge watching your videos to catch up. The warehouse you're working from, is it a community one or a friends? I noticed you didnt have ventilation in shower, so where does the steam go? Ive seen others build a cat door on the bathroom cabinet so their cat can relieve themselves in there, it worked for them but I wondered about the smell. What you created is fantastic and slick..well done 👏 the update looks great. I love the yellow touches and that rug😊
Love the support! Thank you 😊 We actually have that space as our amenities room in our building, it's amazing! You have to have your own tools, but the space is free to use. We do have a vent fan in the bathroom, it's just in the middle of the room and not over the shower directly. That's how they do it here. Yeah, I've seen that too, and it's a cool solution, but for me, I didn't want to cut a hole in the cabinet, and also, we need all the storage we can get haha!
Im glad you mentioned Switzerland having way more wallpaper and its cheaper because we are going there on holiday in Oct-Nov so Im going to be bring loads back with me for sure. I love the tip about painting stripes also, thats a great one and makes sense. Thank you😊 Definitely subbing for more👌 Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺 Q: What was his award for? You did such a great job, its stunning!
