@@talkingserpents no. I’m an educated keeper that cares about good information going out. You should try it sometime instead of showing your ignorance and unwillingness to educate yourself

Super helpful! Im doing an eight foot enclosure build for an adult tegu next week and this very much helped me decide to go for a polyurethane sealer/tint.
@@dandyxrandy7200 Glad I could help! With a tugu I would personally add a bit more protection to the wood since they do require more humidity and moisture. Here is a video I made showing a step after a polyurethane interior. This gives it a lot more resistance to moisture. Highly recommend. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y42MmqLJcRU.htmlsi=7K123HB27L-Nsn5_
I personally wouldn't recommend it for standing water. I would recommend a pvc reptile enclosure since it can handle the highest moisture conditions. We have them on our website talkingserpents.com
Noticed you said in the video is her for jungle jungle is a incomplete dominant gene and judging by his colours and patterns he looks like a jungle sunglow
Yeah, those little humidity gauges, you’d get a better reading by simply licking the air in the enclosure. Those gauges are usually found at big pet stores and are absolute rubbish, never buy them… EVER!
I don’t think drylock extreme is safe for this. You can’t use it in aquariums so why use it for a reptile. It has a mildew inhibitor in it that stays working after it’s cured and dry
We use 1/4" thick glass that is certified tempered safety glass. We get it precut. Most of our reptile enclosures come with glass on our website talkingserpents.com
@@talkingserpents for the track for the glass when I searched pieces up it’s like over half an inch because I’m wanting to use half inch piece PVCC and it’s like 0.56 or 0.62 inches of track so I don’t know what to do
Thats quite a large reptile enclosure. It would need to be picked up locally. We are located in Weatherford, Texas I'm curious. What reptile would this be for?
@@talkingserpents for my reticulated python. I can't go any longer as it needs to fit in one of my rooms until I can convert my garage to a reptile room. Then I'm going to do a 16 by 4 by 4 for her! Edit: I'm in Missouri unfortunately:/
Is there anyway to contact you for pricing on a custom PVC enclosure? I tried the contact us tab on your website a year ago and tried to send a message on facebook but I never got a reply. I tried the contact us tab again a few hours ago so hopefully i get a reply this time.
@@talkingserpents I feed a premade raw food but also want to incorporate whole prey for snack. I belong to a raw feeding group on fb they feed whole prey some feed rats to their dogs which I would absolutely not do. But I would absolutely be on board with quail
Where are you located out of in Tx? I want a few of these hooks but I can probably pick them up locally. I was going to order from Midwest Tongs but I’d much rather support a local Texan! These look awesome
Hi im new. We have similar enclosure with two heat bulb cage kits, but the top of the cage is getting hot to the touch is it from not having a thermostat?
Very helpful, thank you!! I see you are using interior varathane.. does it matter whether it is interior or exterior? I just have some exterior stuff already, still water based.
I no 4 years to late. Here in England United Kingdom. We struggle to get drylok here. But after over a week iv managed to find some latex base drylok masonry waterproofer. So iv orded it and drylok original basement masonry waterproofer has arrived. Could i still use this product. Im confused its says the vopour is harmful will it be fine completely dry. Or should i just look for another week or more to find the latex base one.
@@michaelmonast6440 1 1/4" screws that are countersunk. All of our reptile enclosures on our website talkingserpents.com are built to be strong and stackable. They can be stacked to the ceiling if that's what you want you need to do.
Hi! I asked you because I recently started breeding my first Boa, a BCI supersunglow, as a beginner I am a little confused about its size as an adult observing that specimens of the same age often have very different sizes, I would like my specimen to reach large dimensions, a bit like yours but without compromising the animal's health, any advice? Thank you@@talkingserpents
