Overall I enjoyed this drama. MLs and FLs and all actors casted well. The acting is good, the kiss scenes are real, costumes are intricate and well designed and made. They take particular care on small details like hair and makeup and blood stains on swords etc. The part where the 2ML revolt and the hair, make up and acting of the emperor is really believable and good. The boy is cute. I saw another version of this story and i think this one is better. Overall thumbs up. Recommend.

Amei esse drama❤. A história é linda. O elenco é ótimo. O casal de protagonistas são maravilhosos. Excelentes profissionais, a gente sente a química entre eles dois pelo olhar. Parabéns a todos da equipe e muito obrigado por essa obra linda.
In fact i like it a lots. Acting was on high level,scenes. Why she forgive him? Normal,cause she wasn't abused a lots from what I saw. She was only locked in her palace, nothing else. They didn't knew each other so good.I would forgive too .
Fl is such a looser and a coward..lack self love and dignity, devalue and degrade herself for scumbag..just talk high and mighty but can't even deal with the mistress..suffer all kinds of humilations, abuse and torture still run after scumbag, she even drag 2nd ml b'coz of her craziness and obssession..she doesn't deserve sympathy b'coz everything she goes through is her own doing..and about ml and mistress they are a pair of selfish scumbag with hearts and minds of evil only thought of harming others, everthing they do is for their own interest..they torture and treated fl like trash from the very begining, so we can't really blame them, b'coz evil mind don't repent or feel guilty..so fl did this to herself and her beloved one..

lol OMG I don't know which is better watching the drama (a plot that has been redone many times) or reading the comments and all those whining and complaining about video and what they didn't like for whatever reason. Because the funny part they know the plot and yet they still watch just to complain. Has me laughing so much at them as the solution is simple (even they should have figured it out for themselves but it seems it is beyond their ability to do that) if you don't like it then don't watch it. See very simple. But if you are like me and thought this version of it was worth watching and funny and enjoy the different plot twists and actors then you are my kind of people with a wonderful sense of humor. Coco Drama thank you for sharing this version. keep up the good work it is appreciated.
nice drama❤❤ I actually don't like the way FL tend to attract ML'S focus to them by using divorce things 😮😮 especially time travelers going in the era where women are not given much importance and after reaching there she tend to bring 21st century behaviors there. 😊😊😊😊but here she became a woman of the era even after coming out even though she didn't fight with ML but she didn't complete any wife's obligations and forgave him with time and she has his child and children of divorced parents in that time were always bullied so i loved this drama 😊😊😊😊
I can't stand all these dramas when the FL forgive at the end the ML after all the violence, humiliation and so on. Now when I start watching a drama and the ML is a violent scumbag, I forward directly to the end to see if I continue to watch or stop right there and then. Most of the time I am really disgusted when after all the abuse they are lovey dovey as if nothing major happend. Is this behavior normal in China? I don't think so, or at least I hope it's sthg unacceptable and reprehensible. I think that all these sceewiters, actors and Directors should refuse to write, play and direct this genre. 'Cause accepting to work with such script means that they are helping to endoctrinate the girls to accept this kind of abuse and what is more dangerous is making it normale. Please before doing this films, think about your daughters, sisters and mothers.
I like other version of this story. Ml continued to be his arrogant ass self. Fl never even pretended to like him. At the end Fl took her son and left at the end, plus she wrote best ‘dear John’ letter ever of these short dramas.
These Westernized names take me out. Hello, Bob, isn't it a lovely day, here, in ancient China? The story as a whole is fine. The forced wedding night is not my idea of a good time but if you can get past it the leads are nice together.
Everything's good, except for the first part of the drama. I'm surprised she didn't insist on divorcing him the first time she saw him after 5 years.
