The Advanced Imaging Society was formed in 2009 by our industries' creative stakeholders including The Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, DreamWorks Animation (DWA), Sony, Paramount, IMAX, Dolby, Panasonic, MasterImage and others to advance the creative arts and sciences of stereoscopic 3D.
As new cutting edge technologies including high dynamic range (HDR), virtual reality (VR), high frame rate (HFR), and 4K come to the forefront, the Society has been charged with “informing the content pipeline” of professionals on these emerging innovations.
With chapters in the U.S., China, Japan, Canada, the E.U. and the U.K., the organization serves thousands of professional participants in over 20 countries active in improving the arts and technologies of advanced imaging. The organization hosts professional education seminars and awards throughout the world.
I loved the audio innovations of the MAL software. I didnt like what they did to the picture on Get Back. I can't believe that they thought that made the 16mm look better.
Im glad I lived long enough to experience the Beatles and this technology. Thanks for sharing how you made "Get Back" possible. It was impressive and amazing.
Why didn’t they use the A Roll AND B Roll tapes which had the hanging microphones in different parts of the studio to make the soundtrack a wider Stereo?
It doesn't have the same impact though because we are seeing the real Anakin (Hayden Christensen) in the suit with his broken mask talking through the modulator mixed in with James Earl Jones voice. Way better than the Rebels scene and better acted too
Omg I saw her feminist, combative and most of all toxic comments in other videos, why did marvel or Disney ever consider getting a person like her to work with? She’s so toxic! I’ve work and seen other lady boses before and they do not behave or talk like her. Also inclusion doesn’t mean u change race of stories that hv been told for decades. Mermaid, female hulk, the lord of the rings, these are not inclusion, these are racist! And tasteless, tacky.
I feel fortunate that I've lived this long, going from listening to the original mono vinyl discs of the early 60s, to now be able to listen to what it actually sounded like in the studio back in 1969, thanks to the MAL technology. Back in the early 60s, they were recording on 2-track tape, then moved to 4-track, etc. But they had to combine tracks in order to add new material, thereby eliminating the possibility of ever going back to the original tracks. Until now, that is! With MAL, I expect they will be able to release the entire catalog of Beatles material in state-of-the-art audio, and I anxiously await the results!
The problem with those tapes is they are from a home tape machine belonged to Ted Taylor, although the original microphone has been changed to a better microphone quality, the overall result suffers enormously from this lack of quality. I tried to convert the track "Kansas City/Hey,Hey,Hey,Hey", with the latest stem separations technology (from the best sources possible and amongst them, the Zu Laut mixes) and the result is very diappointing...But...In this kind of technology, what was "impossible" yesterday doesn't mean that it will also be tomorrow....
