First time movie and popular TV series reactions to some of the most popular modern movies and shows. If I watch something that I have seen before, I will be 100% honest about it, and it will be to catch up to a series or sequel as it would have been many years since the movie was released. But there are so many things that I have not so lets go!!
Haven’t played the game in close to 10 years. Thousands before…. Forgot but the narrator actually says it in the opening video for Fallout4. So kind of a small fail on my end. Thanks for watching.
The turret missing was spot-on to the Mark 1 turret you can build in game for your settlements. You know the ones that raiders can walk up to with a board and destroy. LOL
I used to build a stairway up like 20 feet, add a platform, build a turret, go back downstairs then pack the staircase away 😂. It helped against raiders and Super Mutants a lot!! I used the rockets 😂😂 and I think laser. It’s been a while. I had a combination of projectiles just in case.
@@jhaereacts It came out in the 50's, which is probably why it looks like it fits right in with the rest of the 50's-style Fallout universe. Apparently it was intended for uranium prospecting. Modern day versions do exist, but not from this company and unfortunately, way more boring looking than this. Speaking of the Precision Radiation company, they apparently also produced records, including -- I'm not shitting you here -- "If the Bomb Falls," a primer on surviving a nuclear attack.
That’s too bad. I’m on the ride so no spoilers please. But they say once a show gets to a 3rd season, a very large majority of them struggle with the same quality content and many start repeating things.
Yeah it will be fun to see what they do with Season 2. I wonder if NCR Rangers are completely a thing of the past since by the time this show took place the NCR had already basically collapsed.
Man..... when I binged the first episode i was like WTF 😂😂😂😂 WOW WHATS GOING ON WHO MADE THIS feeling angry distraught and all types of Emotions all at once i didnt see myself liking the series but after watching all 3 seasons i became a fan of the show
Not too many reactors pick up on this but the ghoul is supposed to be legendary status being alive for 219 yrs. Also his weapon is custom legendary as well.
I never caught on to that but it makes sense. Did the show producers actually confirm that or is that gamer speculation? I can’t wait for Season 2 but as fast as they say they all do it, I bet it still won’t be until 2026.
@jhaereacts No confirmation but that's something I thought when I first saw it. Also have many hours put into Fallout 4 & 76. Season 2 can't come quick enough lol. Keep doing ya thing man ✌️
It's based off a comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. There are some differences between the comics and the TV series, but the overall plot is the same as far as I know (I haven't read the comics). You are in for a wild ride.
Yeah I’ve watched through S1E5 and loving it so far. Following my hunch I looked into it just enough to know that it was actually DC but was bought/sold to another comic company.
If you didn't pick up on it, the city Hank was walking to is New Vegas. He's going to where it's believed VT's top execs cryopods are. Coop's wife would probably be there too, and possibly his daughter.
They are probably in Vault 31 with the rest of the Vault-Tec brass. I’m thinking that’s how Norm will eventually get rescued. I definitely picked up on New Vegas since I mentioned it when I saw it at the end of Ep8.
The girl that fixed his power armor part proves a point. He wasn't paying for what she did, he was paying for what she knew. So what if it only took her a half second to fix it. He couldn't have done it at all, because as we all saw in episode 1, he's bad with technology. Also, Cooper is the canon original Vault Boy now. Episode 1 also gave a reason for the thumbs up if you recall. This show is so amazingly detailed.
For what it's worth, 76 is no longer as buggy as it used to be, and it's amazing now. There's SO MUCH to do and the world is the best of any Fallout IMHO.
Yeah, I’ve been meaning to go back. I was a few hours in when my super PC got so laggy I couldn’t do anything. I tried a dozen times before I bailed. I’ll be back once I get other things in order, it will be my reward. I love the games so much. I paid extra for Starfield and only played 15 hours on that before bailing too.
This is what I pulled from the end.Removing everyone else from the timeline equation. Removed infinitum or Uroboros from the equation. Life is now feeding or propelling the timeline. Instead of the timeline feeding itself, into itself, or self perpetuating. Take Care.😊
There were so many Easter eggs in the show - there was a super mutant under the cover in the enclave (you see the hand move under the stretcher!) - obviously dogmeat - the NCR armor - and Maximus talks about the EDEN project! My love of lore was just eating all the set dressing so much! Filly was CHOCK full of references (even the clothing stand in the center was the same one you can put in your settlements!) and MaJunes shop was CRAMMED with things. And of course, they have greenlit season 2! Great review!!
Thank you. Yeah I mention the super mutant hand in closing. But that’s not good enough 😂, I need to see one swinging a pipe or a board with a few nails on it! 😂😂 There was a Wanted poster drawing of what looked like one in the “Govermint” office next to Moldaver’s too.
One of the things I picked up on - the Ghoul doesn't kill the guys when they pick him up because he's at a HUGE disadvantage.... he doesn't have a trigger finger! It's not until he sews Lucys finger on he can actually use the gun. A nice lil nod to when he was threatening to shoot her to go inside the superduper mart. He was acting - just like in his movies.
I loved the Super Duper Mart! I interpreted that last scene as him remembering who he used to be and what he stood for, at least at the time he was watching it. But in hindsight, maybe it was a reminder for him to stay on task too because of “Henry” and the good ol days of Barb and Janie.
It's not factions that make war, it's people who want something they don't have. People like Vault-Tec. People run out of water, and have to go where there is water. If the people already there are not prepared to share, conflict begins. Ideological warfare is a another kind of war, and exactly the kind of war Vault-Tec was waging. Their greed did what greed always does - it made them stupid.
There seems to be truth in every “end of the world” narrative whether it’s a tv show, a movie, or even real world 2020 (water , toilet paper, diaper, cleaning shortage due to opportunist and hoard to survive people). War never changes, utopia will never exist, there’s a part of people that will always be nefarious and greedy, if not for their own self preservation than to profit and build power on, and even if it’s just 1% of people, it’s enough to cause our worse fears.
😂 yeah, he’s something else. I didn’t mind him being the cameo, fit that character so well right??? I don’t know if you remember the movie “higher learning” but his rant as Titus to Max reminded me of his Remy characters dark turn to the Aryan Nation as a misguided college student in Higher Learning.
It seems you have never been so terrified that your body became adrenalized and your coordination failed. Don't mock until you know what you are talking about, oh and Wendy was doing Jacks job in the boiler room.
Wow Gretchen, first off thanks for watching. Secondly, no, I have never had someone try to kill me with an axe a few feet away while trapped inside a restroom. Have you? Let’s take a step back and try to remember we are watching a talented actress play a character in a movie that has already a very fragile persona. I have been in very high stress situations when the adrenaline is flowing it’s hard to stay calm. People react to highly stressful situations differently in life. You assuming I don’t know what I am talking about is far more reckless than any movie reactor reacting to a fictional character in a movie. Thanks again for watching, this was a very fun movie to react to and finally see.
@@gretchenoliver3388not judging you asking you to qualify your judgement and response , just asking you don’t internalize and personalize someone’s reaction to a movie or scene and in doing so, judge me personally and assume I’ve never been in a bad situation because of my reaction or anyone’s reaction to something in cinema. Have a nice day, or try to. And again, it really does mean a lot that you watched this reaction.
IMO Betty poisoned the prisoners, their usefulness as a distraction was over. IMO Thadeus missed Lucy and Max because the gun is not accurate without VATS in game and also Lucy and Max have high luck stats. Steph is overseer because she is from 31. The brotherhood took over Filly. Not Raiders, The New California Republic HQ. Plot twist, Moldaver not the bad guy. Yes Fallout four you are in Cryo.
@@leeneufeld4140 No. A common problem with people who think they are smarter than they really are. Most intelligent people know what they don't know. Moldaver didn't write those lines, some writer did.
Loved following your reaction to the show as a fallout fan as well. I am definitely getting the new Pip boy as well. I saw a demo for it on Adam Savage's RU-vid channel
Remember, Stephanie was from Vault 31. All overseers are from Vault 31, so that's why she is named the "interim" overseer for 32. Yeah, they should have landed farther out and approached on land, but to be fair, the bad vertibird tactics are accurate to Fallout 4. 😉
Yeah. I wonder if she even knows she’s from Vault 31. She seemed very confused and unsure when Norm asked her how they were different. If she grew up with Norm and Lucy, perhaps she was too young to understand or thought she was imagining things like Lucy and the false memory of the lighting inside the vault and not the actual sun on her face.
@@jhaereacts Based on what we know for 31, she would have been in the executive training program (Bud's Buds). I think (IMHO) the hesitation in answering is because she wasn't sure what Hank had told his kids and didn't want to say something that would contradict and reveal the lie.
@@folcotook3049 Pretty much. I see them and think, "Is this thing going to land on me, or a nearby car, and blow me to pieces?" If only there were some way to sort of....hover...in the aircraft designed to....hover.
Note in barb's office, poster on the wall, "under the Covers", in the corner it shows the lead actress name as: *VERA KEYES* !! Ever played "New Vegas ~ Dead Money" ? ;)
Thadeus might have been dosed with FEV, something none of the 3, Max, Goosey, or Tad, have any experience with. Vault tec HQ probably has large amounts of lead in the concrete and glass, blocking radio signals. Dane is a they not a she. Villains never see themselves as Villains.
As always, great reaction. I’m pretty sure who prefers pie over jello cake tells who killed the prisoners. The Brotherhood with electricity proberly means red lasers in S2
Goodbye Gatling , hello tri-laser? I’ve always seen the BoS as the good guys in the games. The series paints them more like the Enclave imo. Will be interesting to see how they change in S2. Someone hand me a plasma rifle please.
😂😂 for the life of me that drink pronunciation has always got me. Yeah, I can’t freakin wait, maybe we will get our Super Mutants instead of some gurney Easter egg.
@@spurgurius That was my thought also. The medication the Ghoul was using didn't heal or make him better. It just prevented him from going feral. So that can't be what Thaddius used. It must be FEV because the body would "improve" when exposed. I am thinking the Ghoul is taking RadX.
@@homerj806 By ghoul juice I meant heavy radiation drug like what hancock had in fallout 4. Ghouls dont need Rad-X, the ghoul vieals were totally new thing that hasnt been explained yet.
First: Didn't figured out that Cooper was married to a villain. Second: there was a super mutant. It was in episode 2 where Wilzig was holding CX404 and the enclave wheeled out on a gurney something with a big hand under cover. Third: Hank talked about getting rid of the factions but Vault-tec was a faction also. This season was Brotherhood heavy so maybe season 2 will be NCR heavy. Finally I also bought that Pipboy. It would go with next year Halloween costume of the most evil faction of this show; Vault-tec Management.
In the final thoughts I mentioned the gurney. I may not have put that in this though but I did 100% put it on the Patreon. Can’t wait for season 2, and thank you for watching, it means a lot. 🙏
Crater: yeah, in reality, everything would be shaved FLAT and buried under thick dust/rubble for about a mile out from that! Ground burst (or maybe subsurface, buried) or low altitude burst to make a crater like that, and a big one at least 100 kilotons if it was buried and a megaton or so if low altitude. Also be very "dirty" See the "Sedan Crater" in US nuclear testing grounds, and footage of the "Atomic Cannon" test which was a low altitude, 15k kiloton test where the "push" force of the blast was massively amplified by the low height, threw tanks flying!
@@jhaereacts lol ;) The famous "Barringer Meteor Crater" in Arizona was about 5 megatons in power, to give a scale of such things. In the "fallout" universe, nukes that big were actually rare, they mostly used a *_crap_* ton of smaller ones in the "Great War"
I like to goof around in power armor sometimes just for fun but my characters are almost always some variation of a "stealth sniper". All that armor makes it a bit difficult to be sneaky. 😉
Cooper's wife works for Valt-Tec, in the first episode the first thing we learn is Cooper is doing these shows to pay alimony. There are ore reasons than that but even where you are in the series so far I think those facts are reasons he might have not been allowed in a vault. There is more.
@@jhaereacts In FO76 I like to play with the CSA and have 8 Black Powder Rifles hotkeyed. The only problem is, after emptying them it takes damn near a full minute to reload them lol.
Nice catch with the dude from episode 1 being a D in regards to the thumb I also think Betty’s words to Norm could be taken as tacit permission. “Just be careful”
