I always had a soft spot for the Upper West Side. Maybe it comes from me being a huge Seinfeld fan but I always liked taking a stroll through there when I'm in that area of the city. I've eaten at Tom's a handful of times as well.
I know I will sound old now, but this video could have been filmed almost anywhere in the world. Of course, if you look for the details, you'll know it's in the U.S., but if you had said Belguim (bad example, I know, though some scenes remind me of Berlin, Germany), I'd have believed it as well. A video from the 80s, would have the American classic cars, the yellow cabs, the fashion, the attitude - everything would unmistakably tell you: You're not just in the U.S., but you' are in New York City, buddy!

yea.. visited fantastic NYC plenty of times... this is my favorite place to walk in the city..been up/down just about each street in this wonderful neighborhood.. back in a few months' time, and looking so much forward to it all.. the colors, smells, sounds, coffee, food.. and nice people... say whatever you want.. this neighborhood has character 😇
