Cathy Franks So sorry it took me so long to respond, totally forgot to check the video comments. It really depends on humidity and temperature in your area. It will stay liquid if your using it regularly during a project. If air gets to it for any length of time, it will get hard. If you are going to store it, store it with no air in the syringe. I recommend though emptying out the syringes. What works best for me over the last year of using them is only adding enough glue to the syringes for the project I am working on. When I am done, I empty out the syringe, pull the plunger totally out and reintroducing it which forces more air in it pushing the last of the glue out. I remove the plunger totally and insert a pin through the tip making sure it goes all the way in. Set it aside to dry and it should be fine for next use. It is not always 100% but me and a lot of customers have had good luck with this method. E6000 is a beast. If you are working with rhinestones at all, Gem-Tac stays liquid in the dispensers for a very long period of time as long as its been covered on the end.
Great video. Any recommendations on cleaning the tips to reuse? I purchased a tube of E6000 jewely/bead glue and the top of the tube is created like the opening of a syringe and came with tips to screw on the glue top. Everytime I go to use it I use a safety pin and push out the stiff glue but this process takes about 10 minutes. Any quick tips or suggestions.
