Official channel of the Polish Botanical Society. PBS promotes research, teaching and popularization of knowledge about plants and organisms considered plants in the past, such as fungi (mycology), lichens (lichenology) and some algae (phycology). The Society collects and makes the collections available free of charge in the digital repository and the PTB library. Our goal is to support the development of natural sciences, popularize botanical knowledge and link scientific activity with the needs of culture and economy.
