Various clips me and my family recorded with a VHS from the late 80s-early 00s. (And some we just bought.) Think kids' TV, news reports, all the adverts that happened inbetween them, that sort of thing.
Hopefully, this channel can serve as a resource for those interested in television history!
I was in that film as a rocker, they told us that we would not get wet! They gave us balsa wood soft-boiled potatoes for the beach seine!! We got very wet. You can see me on the beach at the front as we run across the beach head-on with the MODS. That was a good week or so, will treasure that for ever.
Jeremy Clarkson's last episode this was. He did not return for series 2 due to other commitments such as his namesake chat show, Clarkson which began later in the same year. Craig Charles, who is perhaps best known for starring in the science fiction sitcom, Red Dwarf took his place as the main host.
Dec predicted Pokerap was gonna be one of the sketches in the 2000 episodes. The Pokédec knowledge skit ends with the reveal of their Pokémon’s jumpers wardrobe
This is from the 15th April 2000 episode because the competition started on 18rh March and nobody became the fourth finalist on the 8th April edition because they are stupid children who are terrible at Wonkey Donkey. (ITS GOTTA RHYME MAN!!!!)
I just remembered this show, i remember visiting the dome while at a sped secondary school with my class they used to creep me out and didn't want to approach the characters even though i was around 12/13 at the time and yet i liked the show.
I can't pinpoint the specific date from memory, but I'm fairly certain this clip is from September 1998 :) think it's even one of the first Sunday mornings CITV did with the live in-vision links, hope that helps
Ah, nostalgia. CiTV's gone now, I believe. The channel, anyway. Got moved to iTVX or something. Actually, I've been meaning to ask: In your collection, have you ever come across some footage from around this era of to do with stop-motion animated aliens? It was a series of brief (and I'm talking seconds long) animations that would come on before CiTV started that day. I've been searching for years to find them and I think they may be lost media.
I haven't found anything like that but I really wish I had! If I come across something like that I'll upload it right away! (I can't believe CITV's gone, either :( )
Hey mate do you happen to have Episode 2? I was a contestant on it, and watching this and other episodes of Lan Jam ive realised I'm in the title sequence too 😂
I only have two other episodes, sorry! Not sure what order they were aired in: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XrifpQeccIo.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nxCH_elf9dw.html
@@vintage-videos it’s all good mate. No need to apologise. Regardless I appreciate you uploading these. It was only until today that I realised I’m in the title sequence… time to add that to my CV 😂
Was this the only other time Cat had threaten them to apologize for their dumb stereotype comedy? The only other time I can remember the sketch ending like this was the one used from the November 13th, 1999 episode where Ant and Dec made illegal jokes about the UK and Scotland sports battles where they offended all the Scottish and British viewers live in front of millions of people on national children's public television with their inappropriate costumes and Dec flashing the Scottish kilts at the end. This one had Cat forced them to apologize for making dumb illegal stereotype jokes about the Spice Girls and stealing Cat Deeley's wardrobe from her dressing room again.
I've only seen one clip of this game and it was with Danielle All those prizes look super cool especially the CITV ones! I want a CITV water bottle with a straw!
