The bike had been sitting a few years with stabilizer in the fuel and it gum up so i just changed everything in and out of the tank to be on the road instead of on the side of the road
@@joshstamey8951 I used my old one. You have to take your time getting it out and no shops would take on the task .They all said go carb. so i made it happen
I want to find some used ones so I'm on the road again.but if I see a set come up I'm buying because I don't want to have to go through this s*** again
Hey man good video. I just picked up a 96 road king and the supply check valve isn't working. Apparently those valves are tough to find. Were you able to find a source for those??
well i had a hard time finding 1 side because its discounted at harley .I Just order the one that was available and took the guts out of the new one and put it inside the old only is the retaining clip. Its just find doesn't leak, hope this helps.
@@roadkingryder3280 ya gotcha I went through the valves they seem to be ok but when I get down to about 1 gallon of gas the bike starts to sputter and then runs out of fuel have you experienced this? It seems to be when I have around 130-150 miles on odometer. From what I've seen online I should be able to go roughly 200miles. Thanks!
