I used to catch these guys every weekend in Sydney in the late 80's. AO Mod TV Version is one of the best albums ever produced imo, and for a 3 piece band they had no right putting out the magical noise that they did. Love ya Blox
To add, I rarely quantise my drums or my drummers, or myself with the instruments I play. I use a TD12 to Superior drummer and create my own drum sounds, the tech is awesome but I believe you must have an ear and the training to put it all together. I can’t have “real” kit where I am, I do mic up a hi hat though as they never trigger properly.
They dessed up in traditional cowboy 🤠 country western culture clothes cowboy boots , embroidered classic cowboy shirt with bolo ties what was Chuck Berry and ZZ top trademark styles and also all the Rockabilly and punk culture and Rock’n’Rollers of that era dressed even Dire Straits, so cool absolutely mind blowing the sound how they perform live so much energy the singer is a killer front man so exciting so expressive you can just tell he’s there being at places and everything that his lyrics comes from a such emotional singer , the slide guitarist he’s a killer guitarist, all of them thr drummer , Guy obviously playing and singing man what a phenomenal band OMG this is so awesome true Aussie Rock’n’Roll legendary band , THANK YOU SO MUCH for uploading this ❤
FFS...as good as Credence (imo) and longer! These guys were taken for granted at the time. Decades later realize how GOOD they were. Mastercleass in blues rock. i.e new verse(s) and drone note(s) manipulation. LUV IT.
