I think FBR is absolute game changer in the construction industry and they deserve acknowledgement on the global scale, something like Nobel price. I ❤️ FBR and Hadrian X. I do prefer FBR above another innovative technologies in the construction like 3D printing. Buildings consisting out of brick laying seem to me more authentic and also more stable and safe. how bout a product? your system is intriguing but has multiple issues as I can see. the first video of working prototype has 1/2" joints, why? glue 3 of 4. how about the cuts, where do they appear from? is there a saw somewhere on the excavator? how can this contend with rebar? ladderwire/blocklock/blockweld, is it needed? what R rating can you get with your patented product? can I use normal blocks(faster and easier to get am sure)? where's the plumbing/electrical? vents? how about another floor? can we build multiple stories with different floor plans? does the machine go below grad? The company Wienerberger have been glueing bricks since more than 20 years! No Problem unless the worker is a slob! Clay Bricks have many advantages as they are ceramics that store heat and equivalize water vapor for a nice living climate.

Question, please. Was there a previous bricklaying robot prior to the Hadrian X that was in operation and could 3-D print and lay bricks? I am curious how doable this latest robot is.
We developed a prototype back in 2015 purely as a means of demonstrating that the technology we were aiming for is achievable. Our commercial model - the vastly improved Hadrian X - is due to be available by 2019.
Rather than traditional mortar, the Hadrian X uses a specialised industrial adhesive that is five times stronger and offers 70% greater insulation than the previously used concrete.
I hope with this automation, you are creating more jobs in the industry rather than taking jobs. I know alot of people that could be put out of work because they don't have a robotics degree, and a machine can lay bricks cheaper than they can.

There's no adhesive or mortar in the vertical joints? How are they filled, surely this weakens the structure. Will these adhesives still be good after 20+ yeas, mortar will!
Insulated concrete forms with helix concrete, stack them yourself prop them yourself and get a concrete pump to fill them and there is your wall, cyclone, hurricane and earthquake proof. Hardly any heating and cooling costs.
