Why aren’t these announcers calling the game instead of interviewing someone and ignoring the game? I would’ve expected a whole lot better out of Al. Now Cris, everybody knows what a loser he is, but QUIT interviewing a retired player during game.
Looks like a family of Smurf’s running all over this field. Cris already letting everyone know immediately he’s rooting for the Smurf’s making snarky remarks about Ben immediately. Really Cris? You shouldn’t show your bias after 1 play.
Jim Bob Cooter has to be the worst OC the league has ever seen! I loved Jim Caldwell but he ruined his career when he fired Scott Linehan for Cooter a guy with no experience and boy did it show. Pretty sure Cooter is MIA now i can't see anyone ever hiring him after what he put on tape
"The magic of RG3" this was simply infuriating at the time, that this guy is overhyped for something that has nothing to do with his actual job, does that thing badly, has an entirely predictable harmful consequence through a freak stroke of luck work out for his team, and the announcers praise him for it. Hell, RG3 was overhyped, just for winning the Rookie of the Year. If any Redskin deserved it that year, it was Alfred Morris. The relief of a rookie starter to have the kind of blocking they got, plus being able to put the game on the shoulders of a back like that, is huge. It's how Dak Prescott managed to pass himself off as a high-level NFL quarterback, coming in to take snaps behind 3 All-Pro lineman, and handoff to Elliot (also to just lob the ball into the air when totally out of options, and trust that Jason Witten will somehow come down with it and turn it into a positive play).
Agreed. He got way too many pats on the back that year for hardly accomplishing jackshit in terms of being a proven qb. Didn’t help that he believed it and overinflated his ego before he ever even got a chance to take off
To the young Chiefs fans, yes, there was a time your team sucked. You may not have been born or old enough to remember it, but the chiefs used to be AWFUL.
