the best thing about this series is simply the fact that no one can truly be characterised as "good" or "evil". there is no heroes and no villians. it truly represents how flawed and complex people are and what living for centuries can do to an already fragile being. armand is possibly the best example of that. he's someone that you can hate and empathize with, both. ugh i love this show so much, it's a masterpiece
