1:07:00 Chet Baker monument. ( << At about 3 am on May 13, 1988, Baker was found dead on Prins Hendrikkade, near Zeedijk, the street below his second-story room (Room 210) of Hotel Prins Hendrik in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with serious wounds to his head. Heroin and cocaine were found in his hotel room, and an autopsy also found these drugs in his body. There was no evidence of a struggle, and the death was ruled an accident. Baker's body was brought home for interment in the Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California, USA. A plaque outside the Hotel Prins Hendrik now memorializes )
My BFF in Belgium, the flea market queen, finds those marks at the markets for 20 Euro or less. Sometimes with the tags still on them. The crazy money folks spend, wait a year and you'll find it at a flea. Great day out for sure. Scenes of Amsterdam always welcome in the morning.
Uh what a nice short video but very strong editing, I loved the Vredenburg building (1:23), it is a gem of the electic architectural style, did you see the alien plaque?, thank you and good Wednesday to you and your followers, good life
I work close to where this lady lives and often stay at a friend's if working several days in Amsterdam. Her place has what I'd also call pre-War and lethal staircases too. Yet, they're not as bad as this lady's. I think it a shame that she lives in a house where it's no longer possible for her to take on all the floors. Though the house is worth a fortune these days, her interior is dilapidated and in dire need of repair, especially the toilet area. If I were her I'd sell and move to a retirement complex, some of which are so very nice with wonderful views and accommodating facilities.
Im Dutch and i have never seen them inside off a canal house. Very interesting. Im not jealous of those stairs, pooh pooh, every day and the toilet all the way upstairs.Very old house, I even saw a very old stove in the kitchen, I think? went a little too fast. And to think that in the past they simply lived there with 5 or more people.
