Yes, they’re very heavy. 5 Flights, definitely get a helper if you can. However I moved 2 of the smaller sized counters around without too much effort. Good Luck! 🙂
Hi: I’m interested in your red and white drill depth gauge for setting the stop collar on your drill bit. Is it homemade or did you buy it? I would like to make one for myself or buy . Thanks, John Jensen from British Columbia
Hi John, It Is homemade, I have a video showing its construction. This is the Link Make A Totally Useful Drill Stop Gauge. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E2eT-hzZg1I.html Thanks for Watching!
Amazing work, but that carrying back and forth can get to you after a while I would think. Subbed and checking out all your others, thanks for showing the steps fully! Great job!
This is one of the best woodworking/DIY channels in my opinion. Combination of design, modern, simplicity and functionality is what you get from DIY Foto.
Hey man, I loved this build. And I absolutely loved the finish. Contrasting colors are my jam. Im going to probably recreate this for my 735, or a version of it. Since I'm pretty tall, I'd like mine a little taller and wider, but I had a question. After a year of use, is it still working well? And was the top level? At the end there it looked like the planer wobbled a little? Either way, you do great work, and I'm going to go watch some more of your videos now.
Thanks, working perfectly still, I’m 6 feet tall, I made mine about 2 inches shorter than my perfect height, so I could fit it under a bench in my garage. I’ll be using it in an upcoming video, fairly soon, Thanks for Watching! 😊
Did 1 of my doors with plywood pieces added on top, cause didn't have router. This style door is very expensive especially when you have many doors, it's beautiful and saved lots of money 💰
The top will be perfectly stable, gravity will hold it in place if everything is relatively level. Make sure to adjust each leg leveller, the counters are pretty heavy particle board core. Mine don’t move, a year on. Of course you could use an L bracket to secure your countertops if it concerns you. Hope this helps. 🙂
That's a tough question, lots of factors, but a small bench top TableSaw might be a place to start. Here's what I use as an example...ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZkqeV24ELAw.html. Hard to say without more info, what exactly are you interested in making, your workshop area, skill level etc.
Whats your desk height, I mean the height from the Alex drawer to the karlby. Mine is 73 cms. I find an ideal height of 68 Cms, so I'm pretty stuck as to how to reduce this height.
@@honestreview9019 Maybe, I’m exactly 6 feet tall, I find the height fine, and actually considered raising it slightly with small riser blocks, but with my IKEA chair it’s been good at the 74 cm, and I’ve left it.
That's Great! I have an updated video if you're interested Why I Still Love My Dewalt Jobsite Saw ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZkqeV24ELAw.html. Thanks for Watching.
Very well made and helpful video. I have almost the same vise and gained some valuable ideas from you such as using the longer wooden pads vs. shorter and smaller ones I’d planned on as well as making my own dog holes. Thx!
I have a Planar Stand / Tool Stand Build for the Dewalt DW735 Planar but can be adapted to any bench top tool. Planar Stand DIY ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JdXsqqfjFSE.html Thanks for Watching!
Thanks so much, I’m afraid not. It kinda evolved as I went, I didn’t really specify spacing etc. Figuring everyone might have different requirements. 😊
Question for you if you don't mind? I installed the same exact weatherstripping and find that the rubber piece attached to the hard vinyl is rippling and pulling up on the sides. have to keep stretching it back down to the bottom to get rid of the ripples. Are you having any issues with that?
One side of mine did develop ripples, but once I used a level to run it straight it has cleared up. The one side has remained perfect the other has the slightest single ripple I just can’t get perfect. But it’s hardly noticeable. Maybe try re aligning, Hope that helps, I’m no expert. 😊
