First off kudos for getting out there and picking up trash. You are making a small difference. I used to get really bummed out by all the litter in my city. I was hung up on WHY people litter. Then I started picking up litter on my daily walks. Picking up litter makes me feel good and I'm no longer hung up on why people litter. I don't really identify with your 7 stages because it's a binary thing for me. I just feel good when I do it. Nevertheless, much respect to you and for putting in the time to really think about how this effect you emotionally. Keep at it. Cheers!
I love that you guys are doing this! Glad there are good people in the world! I also try to pick up trash too every so often when I get the chance. I just brought back a bag full of someone else's beer cans from the creek.
Not to be too personal, and don't answer if you chose not to...but was wondering if you are dealing with ADHD? My 62 year old brother just got diagnosed a few weeks ago and I see/hear a lot of similarities with you. Really great camera work! The vibrancy of the colors is excellent. What are you using to film?
@@Matthew2414a I don’t have ADHD but I wouldn’t be surprised if I have undiagnosed OCD. 🤷🏻♂️ This one was filmed entirely on the GoPro 10 believe it or not! I do some minor color corrections on Premiere Pro. The footage straight out of the camera is pretty good even without color corrections, though! (That’s the OCD part of me that wants things to look just so, even though most peeps probably won’t notice.) 😂
You ARE making a difference in the following ways: 1) The eco system is impacted in a positive way in the areas you cover 2) Sharing these videos are a great example to all of us how just one (or 2) people can make a difference in the environment 3) Showing the stages of emotions as you start your clean up day helps us to see that we may not want to do something but once we get started it can change our attitude for the best I appreciate you and your wife (?) for tending to your community. All of us can follow your lead and make a world of difference. People that choose to pollute the earth will soon be called into account. (Revelation 11:18)
Nice solo kayaking. Thanks for posting it. The rental guy was waiting for you, and that’s nice. I just bought my own kayak to go out on a local lake, and seeing you get stuck and then say hi to the rental guy reminded me that if something happened to me while I’m out in my own kayak, nobody will be looking for me. So they won’t bother searching for me until I don’t show up at home later that night. Maybe I should have stuck to renting. Oops!
nice place, we love the nature so much! You've collected some beautiful impressions here 👍😊. we wish you a lovely weekend! Best wishes Up'n'Down-Traveling
