I had a 72 with a small block back in 1978 it was a 307 car I put a set of Lee Shepard cast iron 202 angel plug heads on it with a solid flat tappet cam which the cam was pretty nice it was 248 x 254@ 50 and 560 lift on a 108 lsa and I had 488 gears the car was pretty nice for a 307 that people said would never run the car never had enough converter we would use a Vega converter and drill the flex plate it would stall to 2800 or 2900 rpm the car did end up running the best pass was 11.36 not bad for a 307
@@frostycools1315 it's a solid roller 383 turning to 7000 RPM. If that his actual redline 650 way too small 650? I'd put that on if all I went to was a 6000 redline with a 383
Looks like it only goes to groomed mud parks where they dont have to worry abouy rocks and stumps but i would never run that stuff i would oversize the knuckles and bolts so they dont snap with a trussed housing and that should do it but i also go nasty places in our quarry and there are lots of hidden gems in the holes we have a hard time keeping linkage rods from smacking stuff and bending the links or snapping the heim joints off so we have to make our rigs have bare minimun including only front brakes because the rear lines get shredded or ripped off due to rocky muds with who know how many stumps and trees😂its a good time but we have to fix things a lot thats for sure the limestone mud is rough on all the parts
