Hello, welcome to the official DriverKing RU-vid channel!
I’m a Scottish RU-vidr who loves transport.
I here you can find videos on Public Transport Simulator, Football Management Ultra, Minecraft, Bus Simulator Ultimate, Train Sim, Bus Simulator 18, Train Sim World, Among us, Train Spotting, Vlogs and lots more!
If you would like me to make a video about on absolutely anything at all (doesn’t need to be channel related but has to be family friendly) then I will do what I can, just let me know in the comments in any video and leave the rest to me.
Please subscribe to this RU-vid channel (which is 💯% free) which would be greatly appreciated and encourages me to make new, and better content.
I upload new videos usually every Wednesday at 17:00 (5pm) (may vary due to school reasons), so please make sure you turn on notifications so you know when I make new videos and watch them!
Great mini-series, I've just rewatched it for around the 5th time now, due to my upcoming trip to Glasgow which I am very much looking forward to (For reference, I live in Southern England)!
@@LWR1 haha, I’m glad you like this series. I have plans to make similar series’s in the future but I just need to find a date for it. Enjoy Glasgow! (Or if you’re local, Glesga!)
Lovely route. I am currently in Kendal and did the 555 to and from Lancaster. A bit of a roundabout route but beautiful countryside. I did the Kendal to Keswick bit last August. I like your video because you had "the best seat in the house/ bus". even on a wet day this route looks good. For anyone who likes a thrill, do the Grasmere to Keswick bit, really big hill to go up and down. Depends on the driver as to how fast they go down the hill.
@@kaywoodward9283 Windermere to Keswick is definitely the most scenic part of the route I found. On route down to Lancaster I couldn’t get the top front as when I got off my 554 from Carlisle 15 minutes before the 555 was due to leave, there was a line of about 80 people waiting for my bus. The majority of which got off at Grasmere. I had to sit at the very back until Windermere where I got the top front, which I only had til Kendal where we swapped buses and I lost the seat. On the way back however there was only a few people that got on at Lancaster but by the time we got back to Grasmere there was not an available seat left! The 555 should probably be every 30 minutes in the summer I think.
Downloaded this game yesterday and not even an hour into gameplay, I nearly accidentally mow down a whole group of people and 5 minutes later, I end up crashing the fucking bus into a car parked out the front of someone’s house🤣🤣
Funny enough, I was on a coach from France to Glasgow, and passed through Dumfries and went down on the motorway, if this was yesterday at 4pm or 5pm ish I probably would have seen your bus from my coach !
Thank you for the feedback. I only really know one of the drivers and that’s Charlie that does the 22, I know most of them by their face however as I do use Colchri often.
To add to your wealth of knowledge, the River Sark which you can not see from Gretna Green Station is the border point crossing that separates Scotland & England. If you go into the village of Gretna not Gretna Green which is separate go towards the Gretna Retail Outlet follow the road with pavement southwards until you come to a bridge over a small river. That is the border . Other than that you made a tremendous effort of producing a brilliant train video so thanks for sharing it. Cheers. 😊
The river is right next to The Gretna Chase Hotel which isn’t a part of Gretna but the English County of Cumbria but it has a Dumfries & Galloway Postcode for the Royal Mail.
Possilpark is the station. I have to use all the time used to have a better timetable and one train a day comes from Oban at 08.28 in the morning and stopping at Merryhill as well
It would be nice if the maryhill line would have a more frequent service. It would also be nicer if trains using the line would run to Milngavie, Dalmuir and beyond.
Need more on the line used to be every half an hour all day and now it is half an hour in the morning half an hour at night and the rest of the day is every hour not good enough anymore need more time on the line
They wanted to charge my 5 year old 8 pound for a 19 day rider absolutely phishin it down and she would rather see him walk then let him on this one time disgusting ill get her pic and post it nasty piece of work
Was so sad when i heard they were closing down they were by far my favourite Paisley independent. Being brought up in Johnstone i remember as a kid seeing there old mercs running about all the time so many good childhood memories with them. Wish stevie all the best with his retirement! 27 years is some shift
It was sad that they closed yeah but it had to come at somepoint. I was also brought up in Johnstone and paisley and loved their mercs and transits running around but never really traveled with the company til I got my nec in 2021. I loved the company and getting to know all the drivers but I hope all goes well with this non-profit company and their proposed Kilbarchan run as some of key coaches drivers may join when they are scheduled to start late may-June time.
@DriverKing used them a lot having lived in Spateston as a kid (and have stayed in Glenburn for 2 years) I certainly agree with you the drivers were brand new! I'm intrigued by this Johnstone community transport, will be interesting to see what their vehicle of choice for this route will be
@@thatglasgowtransportspotte9305 it looks like they will be using 3 of key coaches solos (S1, S7 and S9), they are currently stored next to some rusty double deckers in Linwood, you can see them on the Johnstone bound side on the A737
