TAIKOPROJECT, founded in 2000, is an ensemble of America's premiere, emerging taiko drummers dedicated to preserving and disseminating American taiko drumming through educational activities and public performances. The ensemble's work balances the traditions and rich history of American taiko with a contemporary edge exploring new dimensions in taiko.
This is so inspiring and amazing!I I have taken my son to see Taiko Project several times throughout his childhood. He is on the more impacted side of the autism spectrum and he feels Taiko drums with his whole body. He doesn't speak with words but it's clear that he loves the music and the art of the movement. Happy to get t see you all again soon!
Awesome!! Hope to see more tour diaries in the near future, they bring a lot of fun and, as a former taiko player (no groups in town, moved in 2020 😢), they also bring some kind of comfort and good nostalgia.
