Exilelord song release date theory: First we need to consider thar call of void released on May 15, 2024, Every Day on Jan 8, 2024, and the machine on Mar 21, 2023. The amount of days between Jan 8, 2024 and May 15, 2024 is 128 days while the amount of days between Mar 21, 2023 and Jan 8, 2024 is 293 days. The average between 128 and 293 is (128+293)/2 = 210.5 days and round that to 211 days. 211 days after May 15, 2024 is Thursday, Dec 12, 2024. Therefore, the next Exilelord release is on Thursday, Dec 12, 2024, right? Yes, but considering that Coalescence and Segmentation was released on Dec 23, 2020 (the song not the chart) and knowing Exilelord wanted to send that before Christmas to make a Christmas special I believe. The date for the new exilelord release is between Dec 12, 2024 to Dec 25, 2024. I've also vividly remembered call of the void probably releasing on 1 PM EST time. Therefore we may expect the next Exilelord release to be between Dec 12, 2024 and Dec 25, 2024 1 PM EST time. This is also considering the Halloween specials where Horror and the WIP Halloween Song, hasn't been done BTW. Also knowing that Call of the void and Every Day are extremely similar and you can hear Every day in Call of the void, this next song may be a sequel to call of the void Also considering that the latest Christmas special, Coalescence and Segmentation, is roughly 20 mins long and has been developing for 2 years after Soulless 5, this next exilelord song that is a Christmas song may just be as exciting. However, since 211 days is far less than 2 years, this song will probably be 8 mins in length. Exilelord wanting to make the machine longer than 5-6 minutes but couldn't. So therefore, this song may be 5-6 mins in length as well. That just about concludes my theory. Overall, I'd hope to be expecting a call of the void sequel about 5-6 mins long releasing between Dec 12, 2024 and Dec 25, 2024 at 1PM EST time.
8:06 I'm a bit late, but what's the song you used in the outro? (Edit 2: It’s Crash Test 5) Edit: I know you made it, I'm just wondering if there's a full version somewhere Edit 2: Just looked up "Exilelord Crash test," as a comment on CarnyJared's 2 hour testament FC mentioned them. The song I was wondering about is Crash Test 5.
It makes perfect sense with who is using what instrument. Claude - Bass (Quiet) Tommy - Guitar (80s Rock/LoveFist CJ - Mic (Gangsta Rap) Niko - Drums (most aggression, all other instruments have been used)
Damn a decade and a half ago bro was still cooking. Although not with as many insane things as today its still insane to know bro was breaking guitar hero players fingers at least since 2009
I stopped paying attention to the lead for 5 seconds and now every note was triples. Every time i return to this song i want to play it then remember. Its exilelord. His music goes hard and when charted is like trying to fist fight a nuke
Something I haven't really noticed in my 4-5 years of listening to your music/knowing about your music, but definitely has been a key factor as to why I like them so much, is that it always feels like I am existing in the songs world (or perhaps more accurately, your world) rather than the other way around. Its a unique feeling, and it really makes songs like this one feel so much different. You take a song like Coalescence and (especially) Segmentation, where the constant heartbeat of the percussion and echoey sounds make me feel like Im traversing a volatile world that definitely wasnt meant to be found, or a song like this where I feel uneasy and yet enthralled by the sounds. Soulless 4 reminds me of a terrifying and deadly storm that I should run away from. Point is, I need more music that feels this way to listen to and you do it best. Keep it up!
@ExileLord This may be a shot in the dark, but: Do you still do programming work with Guitar Hero? Specifically GH2? I’ve been trying to figure out a way to allow audio lag calibration within the game’s code. I am willing to make an offer for your time. Love to discuss. LMK

I was wondering if that grey note problem was ever solved, because I have a theory on that: When a note is missed, it disappears and its sustain goes grey. But, that note is still playable if it's the note that has yet to be played, hence why when the notes kept vanished on the "strum every frame" hack you could still play them. For the grey sustain, the glow effect when a sustain is playing gets its mask from the sustain texture and uses that as the colour. Am I right? Or am I wrong?
