I did a lot of research on the accident. All investigations concluded Henri Paul, their chauffeur, caused the accident. The paparazzi didn't cause the accident. Dodi's and Henri's decision to sneak out the back door at the Ritz and speed away prompted the paparazzi to chase them. A brief photo session before leaving would have avoided the chase. Henri was speeding at 2 or 3 times the speed limit when he swerved to avoid rear ending the fiat uno car in the tunnel ahead of them. Henri lost control of the Mercedes and struck the 13th pillar at high speed. Striking a solid unmovable object at high speed is deadly. At a lower speed Henri may have stayed in control of the Mercedes. At a lower speed the crash would not have been as deadly. If Diana wore her seatbelt she would have had an 80% chance of survival. The paparazzi were on motorbikes and not a physical threat to the Mercedes. The French police arrested several paparazzi and took their cameras and film. The photos became part of the documentation of the accident. Diana had several injuries that didn't look life threatening at first. It was the injury to her chest that lead to her death. Her heart was displaced in her chest and it tore a pulmonary vein causing slow internal bleeding. When she was removed from the wreckage she went into cardiac arrest. She went into cardiac arrest and was revived multiple times before arriving at the hospital. Reviving her caused more damage and increased internal bleeding. The ambulance team decided to drive slowly to avoid jarring her heart. Jarring her heart was the cause of repeated cardiac arrest events. She was treated at the hospital for 2 hours and they couldn't get her heart to beat properly and she died. The ambulance team was investigated and found innocent of any wrongdoing because they followed the French protocol for emergency care. ~~~~~ The only similarity between the note Diana wrote and the actual accident is that she died as a result of a car accident. It wasn't her car, the brakes were not tampered with, she didn't die from a head injury. In her note Diana wrote Camilla was a decoy and Charles wanted to marry Tiggy Legge-Bourke. Diana was more jealous of Tiggy than she was of Camilla. Diana was diagnosed with insomnia in 1983. Long-term lack of sleep and prolonged use of sleeping pills promoted irrational thinking. Diana was increasingly paranoid and believed in conspiracies.

"Why isn't she talking louder?" Well, it's kind of ingrained in women that if you talk too loud, you're a shrew. I've noticed a lot of women even today speak in these unnaturally soft voices. My own mother was even criticized for talking too loud to my grandmother in public, which she was only doing because grandma's stone deaf and refuses to get a hearing aid.
