Why did everyone say that the 2007 package was horrible, I never seen it horrible, it was the best package from 2007. And the Nine Network "warehouse" ident (or logo) was one the best ones.
OMG this has unlocked some memories for me - this is one of the commercials I remember clearly from my days of picking up Illawarra TV in my bedroom as a kid. Now I’m a fully grown adult I should swing by one of these days and live the childhood dream
It probably would have been better to entirely remaster the theme using a different orchestra. I always get an uncanny mismatch when listening to the visuals with the new theme. The probably needed more time to cook. (Pun unintended)
Narelle Hill would have been regarded as one of classiest newsreaders in sa TV history had she been not no2 to Jane Doyle she had voice so smooth measured tone never changing so so immaculate did she ever misread a single item she never made comment or quips or swear so polished professionalism I often saw her doing outside reports that dignified beautiful diction was same cultured voice with her cameraman so much aplomb she never ever swore very classy dignified news presenter and lady her impeccable appearance very important to her that hair unruffled her attention to detail endlessly drove her always in business suit sleeves had to be creaseless and down to wrist and jacket fully buttoned her pronunciation had to be perfect yes she was a perfectionist and produced it always even in extreme heat she never ever cut corners suits long sleeves classy
Lowering mortgage rates to 14.5%!! I remember my parents telling me interest rates were crazy in the mid to late '80's, and they weren't joking!! Imagine the repayments today at that rate on the average million dollar home....
