Love to see this shit. Stay of the phones kids and learn to help each other become pros. This day in age its frowned upon to have dreams and go outside. Keep it up and youll be kickfliping before you know it guys
@@llamaarse3634 I don't believe that word is the fitting descriptive word here. Yes I looked it up. A more fitting word may be pinnacle or the epitome of.
@@DanHolmes-o9b I see your point! What I meant by my comment was that I didn't see a purpose or resolution (denouement) of the clip. Some rocks are thrown into a quarry. Why? Maybe a better title would have been: "How to gauge the drop into water before diving in" might have been more explanatory than "I think that's too high!" 🙂
@@llamaarse3634 first, I was young, fit and healthy. The diving board was perched next to the wall/cliff. At first it didn't seem that high, the distance from ground to lake was about 30' but you had to climb the ladder another 25' to get to the dive platform. Once you're up there there's no turning back or abort button. Kids were lined up waiting their turn. I figured I watched enough Tarzan movies if Johnny Weismeiller could do it-I can do it. I didn't realize I may have reached terminal velocity from that distance( certainly seemed so). The impact pulled my arms back and tore off my cutoffs. It rang my bell but felt good hearing all of the cheering and screaming. Took a bit for me to regain composure and find my shorts. I would not repeat this had I known the speed one picks up on the way down. Whew.
@@kiemagen when climbing the ladder to the diving board which was positioned on the cliff wall, I had no idea it was THAT high! Too late- no turning back so I pretended I was Johnny Weismeiller and dove. Yes, I was a young 28 lol...
