Hi traders, I am an Educator and a certified financial planner who have worked with financial institutions for more than a decade. I entered the Indian stock market in 2001 (during IOB IPO Stock Market came to my attention) and ever since then, been doing long-term investing as well as day trading in Index options. I would like to share my knowledge and guide those (especially youths) who wants to take up trading as their full-time/part-time career. I started my trading career with a small amount of capital in equity investment. During my career, I have seen many ups and downs through which, I have identified a few good strategies that will make higher returns than what is offered by banks on your investment and will share them in my videos. (It will be in English/Tamil) Caution: Long-term investment makes you rich but proper analysis is necessary before investing. Chances of losing part of or your entire capital is high.
There is no capital gains tax in Singapore. As a consequence, no income tax is due on sales of shares, properties, intangible assets, etc. This may be different, if the income is seen to have been derived from economic activities in conducting ones' business.
