Nothing makes me happier seeing how this guys are still proud of the work they made years ago bc most youtubers transform into this corporate thing and becomes a shell of its self One ting i wish is they made more irl npc Game clips like the RE 4 Merchant
I hope that at least one of Shawn's kids never sees Sytefreek until like high school or college and then someone just randomly shows them it not knowing he's their dad.
I have just found this video nearing the end of the 20th year of MEGA64 and couldn't be more emotional watching this. This is a great follow up to the TOUCH video. My dad first showed me Mega64 when I was probably 3 or 4, with the Tetris video. My Mom and Dad always were showing me their favorite videos and films growing up. Years after seeing Tetris when I was 11 and got into collecting action figures I loved watching action figure videos. This is when I found some updates, Figure Updates. I binged what was available of figure update just to see what Rocco had collected. Going through those I had watched more and more Rocco personal channel videos before stumbling into the Mega64 main channel. I loved every second of the main channel. After months of slowly catching up with main channel content and even more slowly dipping into the podcast (only watching clips at the time) I saw the Tetris video again and realized the connection I had to them when I was young. I have been an active Internet Solider since then and this video just sparks so many memories throughout these past 10 years as a Mega64 fan.
Oh man. You think you know Mega64 and Garrett, but I'm seeing so many golden moments I've never before seen, on what feels like to me the best day I've had in some time. Going through a big personal change, atleast it feels that way, in terms of my mindset and mental well being, and having already loved Garrett to bits I am glad to say I love him even more right now. What a gem of a human being, God bless the lads but seriously bless Garrett Hunter, 35.
9:20, I love that the 3 Main Boyz are recording a Marcus' Corner DVD commentary during what is inarguably one of the greatest moments of their podcast, and Derrick is shushing the during the recording too
I can't find this one skit that I've been looking for... If I recall correctly, it's one where Derrick was playing too much Red Dead Redemption, and then he goes around acting like a cowboy and shooting people for no good reason. Eventually the other guys get him to stop playing the game so he can go back to normal, and he promises that he stopped playing RDR, but then it turns out he just picked up GTA IV again, and he assumes Roman's personality as he shouts, "Big American Teeteez!" Can any of y'all point me in the direction to that vid?
I haven't had the chance to watch all of this, but does this include the part where Rocco sings "hello hello" can't remember what song he's referring to or which video it's from but I sing it the way he does all the time
I love how Garrett and all these guys do living improv. The number of things they do that look like normal conversation but it's a complete play-act. It's such a funny and playful thing. Like all those parts where he's talking to or about his cousin Twilight Sparkle, lmao. Talking about her boyfriend Chewy's Mustang and making the crowd boo. I love it.
