Not gonna lie, when the gate opened I was expecting the outter most pilars to come down last (Kinda like inner first and then outter out of sync) to get that modern sci-fi feel :)
Sorry but the overdubbed English is awful. Comes across inauthentic. Muted the audio and watched it that way. Would much rather read subtitles. Stunning house though.
Looks sleek but seems like entire house is designed for eating and sitting. no gaming room, no office? no children's platform on second floor, no cozy secluded garden. Just pretentious existance from kitchen to sofa.
Get rid of the coffee table. Single edge of glass will hurt your guests, people watching TV in a darkened room unfamiliar with such a dangerous going all the way around the table.
Too many short steps. Tripping hazard while walking at night. The staircase in the house with nothing to hold on too is another hazard. Too much glass and concrete. It looks like a museum not a home to live in. Modern architecture is so souless and boring.
Way too linear for today’s design aesthetics. This style is 8-10 yearns ago. Current style is more relaxed cocooning with soft corners and curves inspired from the 80’s. Natural elemental materials are fine but they must be presented in smooth transitions in a meaningful context. Harsh monolithic themes as presented here are simply too intense and outdated.
Not my type of style, very cold, very disturbing to me, where are the colors, looks more like a nightmare you want to escape. Is it actually a real home or just a showroom designed by AI? Maybe appealing to some people 🥺
With the chair, you can tell the client knew what he was doing. When you buy a heritage collection Porsche 911, you can optionally configure black&white houndstooth cloth + orange-brown leather seats. I am almost sure that is where he has the color combination from, and if I had to take a bet, I would BET this is precisely the car he has. At least that's why my own interior choice was very similar: I did the same thing and configured my living room with a BoConcept Imola Lounge chair in Cognac with a Rolf Benz black/white Houndstooth cushion on it (you can configure that on their homepage - you can configure an entire Rolf Benz this way, by the way: The model for it is "Sina", and the Houndstooth is color code 18.102), and in the entryway, I put the Stellar Works "QT chair" with a cognac cushion on it and orange rug under the chair. Et voila, you get the Porsche look. I did all the interior research on my own without interior designers or architects. Took me 2 years 😄 I know so much about interior now, I should become an interior designer myself. Or an interior design RU-vidr. Hell, maybe I actually will haha! By the way, bonus tip 1: You know what you could tell your client? Tell him to buy the Occhio "Mito Largo" arch lamp in black (maybe even the special edition with leather around the stand) with a "phantom" head. place it right where the Eames Lounge chair is and let the head float right above the coffee table. Why? because it will add to that mid-century vibe that an Eames Lounge chair has (that typical vibe that the "Flos Arco" mid-century arch-lamp has), but with exactly that modern twist that the client seems to like. He obviously likes exactly the same style as I, so he will love this! This way he will have the perfect discrete lighting in the seating area. Bonus tip 2: Have him remove that generic light above his dining table (which fits in nicely color-wise, but this place needs an eye-catcher) and put the Buster & Punch "Heavy Metal Cross Classic Chandelier" there instead. Customize it with 19 light bulbs, and this already dope area will be FIRE!
