Thank you for watching, @txsuzyq5655. The actual parade begins heading east on Main Street at 10am, but it doesn’t get back west on Main to the Fire Station-where our coverage takes place-until 10:18am-ish. So, as we have done every year, we utilize that time to provide a little parade history and some community updates via the video, as well as thank our sponsors who make it possible for viewers like you to enjoy watching from anywhere in the world. In addition, since the actual parade begins heading east on Main at 10am, we don’t want to post our start time as 10:15am or 10:20am only to have folks see our start time online in the days leading up to the parade and cause them to miss some of the entries because they showed up to Main Street 15-20 minutes late thinking that’s when the parade actually began. Hope that makes sense. Thanks again for watching!
Thanks for watching, @user-bj5bv6qr9d. Since you mentioned "Commercials", I assume you must be referring to our parade coverage from this morning? If so, we actually used the same outline as last year: same number of sponsors (5), same number of commercials. Maybe you're comparing today's parade to our coverage of the Fair Parade, or the Light the Night Parade? As for the time spent hearing from parade & city officials, since the procession begins at 10am but parade entries don't make their way back in front of the Fire Station until 10:20am, we use those first few minutes to provide historical information about Fredericksburg's July 4th Parade, as well as update folks on various things going on in our community. Thank you for the feedback. We'll certainly keep those things in mind when planning for next year.
Glad the video was helpful, @ronniejackson9901. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out this one as well: Total Solar Eclipse: Expectations & Preparations ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2RR49lrZsfk.html
That's impressive that you're preparing this event for so long, and you take it really seriously. I'll be in the area for the eclipse with my wife and kids (we'll come from France). I didn't plan to go to Fredericksburg specifically, but if everyone here is like this nice women with green top, I may change my plans. You all seem to be so kind, I look forward to meet you and visit Texas.
Thank you im so glad you guys were live I got to watch it from California with my family being there my nephew's loved that I got to see the parade with them even though I couldn't be there in person ❤️
Fantastic coverage of an amazing parade! Thanks for filming our Absolute Charm float so that we could see it from a different vantage point PLUS see all the other wonderfully creative entries. The only downside to being IN the parade is you can't see it... so this was GREAT!
@@stokedbronco she's a show boat queen, starts disrupting, yelling at start of meeting, leaves and does not participate in question session after presentation, in Texas we call that "all hat no cattle"
@@stokedbronco being rude and disruptive in a public meeting is having a backbone? do you really think having an open public comment time would have changed the outcome of selling our hopsital? What I find hilarous is the disruptor's very next stop was a meeting where THE EXACT SAME INSTRUCTIONS OCCURRED - write your questions on a card and they will be answered at the end. There was no screaming about that!
Great job Patrick #291 and Blaise #302. Real proud of you boys. Your cousins will follow you in your steps here. Yall can show em a thing er two. Congrats guys 🤠 🐔
