Trying this time without the background music which I think has been a bit too loud and distracting even if it wasn't. I was a bit poor with card positioning on first half of video so parts of the cards are off screen.
Good to hear, I like to give anyone searching a good idea what you normally end up with. Always the chance you could pull something good, but the base set is pretty meh. Think I prefer the Metal Universe for multi sport stuff now.
Lol, ya I really love the art cards. I use a cheat sheet when opening the Japanese cards to know what they are in English, my Nihongo learning is in progress.
I assume you meant legal for tournaments. If you look at 5:11 you'll see the insert card explaining this, but yes only the Basic Energy Cards are legal for tournaments.
@@BreakingTheSeal adding a handle to the box would have made more sense. I wouldnt want to keep track of the sleeve constantly if I was transporting the case around.
Are you looking at base Topps or the Tiffany version? Tiffany PSA 10 just sold on eBay for $950.00 best offer on Mar 17, 2024 and I see two more in auction which should give you some nice recent comps. The base Topps PSA 10 won't be more than $60.00
So four of the cards I got were supposed to be the promo versions but were not. The photos on COMC matched what I got but the description was wrong. Hopefully COMC will resolve this.
Your pack opening is sloppy. You take away the suspense of the cards that are coming up. Just some constructive criticism if you are going to do more unboxing videos.
@BreakingTheSeal you can see the cards behind so you can pretty much tell about half way through the pack whether you have an enchanted. I like videos where they keep the cards tight and they peel them up so you see the rarity. For me that is an exciting video. Good luck with your pulls. 😀

Thanks for taking the hit from this man, it's convinced me not to get one, I can't imaging how many of them must just be filled with obsidian flames cards if you got 4 in a row
In their defense they all can't be hits but buying any of these at the starting price is probably not a good idea. If they go on significant sale like the 2000 Topps Chrome Pokemon ones I bought it might be worthwhile for the risk (and excitement?).
I wish the N43 cards were the default box toppers, I like them much better than the cabinet cards (and they are easier to store as well). I agree with you about the risk of ripping, my two rip cards I ripped and walked away with not a whole lot to show for it. Thanks for sharing!
Ya the N43 cards are a nicer insert for sure. I just wonder how anyone stores the cabinet cards. I watched some other videos on people ripping them and it just doesn't make a lot of sense for cards of top tier players.

I have a Ruby (white paper) 01/25 refractor (Mint condition) so the first one printed in that run. Also I have a sapphire Bob Ross number 04/05 also Mint!
Nice, I'll be opening a few Bob Ross and Street Fighter boxes from Cardsmiths soon and posting the unboxings. The cut quality can be a bit iffy I've noticed from them so far.

Yes I know I have the controllers upside down 🙂. Also didn't note it, but at least compared to the original Switch dock this one snaps on and off instead of having a hinge. There is also a textured back on the Switch itself which I feel dumb for not noticing and missing in the video.
I noticed after the fact that in addition to the Limited Run trading card included in the shipping they did send an apology for the delay with a 25% off coupon.
Saw your post on TCDB and thought I'd give you a view. I just joined your channel to get you one closer 50, 100, 500 and beyond viewers. I picked this set up myself a while back in one of my flea market finds, I grew up in the "hologram" era and find myself attracted to collecting them, probably because I thought they were so neat as a kid. I love connecting with others who enjoy sports cards and collecting and look forward to some of your future content and may go back and look at some older content as well. Thanks, always appreciate feedback as well. The early 90s was the last time I was really into trading cards and have just gotten back into it over the last year or so so love going back and finding stuff from this age I would've loved to have.
