I’m glad you reviewed this brand. I was a little hesitant at first to order some. I ended up buying some at Academy and everything fell through within the box because it didn’t seal each individual slot even though it claimed it did, so part of the fishing trip was separating everything again which was annoying.
This tackle organizer definitely exceeded my expectations! I’ve had some other ones where the dividers fall out, the hinges are flimsy, and they’re nowhere near waterproof.
I got out of bass fishing when the DNR turned off the aerator during a really cold winter and killed 90% of the fish in the lake. I’m a diehard walleye fisherman now and love using Z-Man paddle tails on a 1/4 oz jighead.
any good beginner friendly bait caster reels? i’ve been wanting to get one but i don’t know which one to get for my first one something that’s not gonna break the bank around $70-80 or less
A bit of both. I use them and catch Frequent. But I catch more without them. But Chances are of a fish is ignoring 2 treble hooks they'll ignore a snap
Use the snap alone with most applications. Use the snap with a barrel swivel ONLY for lures that almost always rotate too much such as spoons and glidebaits. With other shorter lures the swivel gets tangled with the hook. End of class. LOL
one question how are small swivels bad but a spinner bait with 2 giant blades attached to a large coat hanger sized wire good? I dont know if i buy it..... im no pro but i catch fish and i use swivels most times.
How about on a chatterbait? I have one rigged but have not tried it yet. Maybe it’s too much? Lemme know! Love your stuff. You are teaching the peoples to fish. I have been thinking Diesels might work as a ned you can then swim sometimes. Idk. I am new to this.
I need to know too I love my chatter baits and maybe it’s bc ion fish as much as I’d like to but I always end up snagging my chatter baits and losing them before I even catch anything maybe had one bite and been tryna catch since
✋I use it for the exact reason ☺️ Bass are ambush predators and oportunist. It already has treble hooks hanging from the ass of the crack bait. Trust they’ll go for it even with xmas lights. 😉👍
The thing that sucks is the placement of the lure hook on the rods. They always put them in the absolute worst places, where it easy to get hooked while just carrying it casually. Petition to move the lure hooks up the rod where they won't hook you everytime it brushes against your leg
Funny thing is, I use these but only on lures like crank and jerk baits. Also works better with a big spinning lure in my opinion. But with soft plastic, it will mess up the action and sound especially.
But if you don’t know the depth how do you know where to tie the knot? Also if you don’t tie a knot how do you know you got a bite? I’m new to fishing for the most part and don’t understand lol
I think it's a good entry in to lure fishing. When you're learning you want as much time working at it as possible and trying different things, but as you get experience you're going to hit less snags and have a better idea of what to use and when so you're probably not going to switch out as often at that point. I used them for a long time and still do but I've recently started tying them here and there. The more you tie knots the quicker you get and as far as presentation goes it really depends on the lure
From a fishing beginner. I was having lot of trouble catching fish, until one guy told me lose the swivel the fish can see it. With this one change almost instantaneously went from a rookie to a pro catching so many fish. I will never use one again
Reduce??? Yeah let’s think for a second, what do fish like to bite, flashy things right, spoons, spinners crank baits that flash, like all these different types of lures that “flash” and you think a little flash is gunna make a fish not eat even tho it’s hungry enough to bite and take a chance on something that’s not in there main food source 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂bruh anglers have me dying yo, to the day I die I’ll use snap swivels, like u said I like to do more fishing then making knots 😂that’s why when u sitting there tying your knots, I’ll be unhooking fish 😂
