Panda is actually a very good oil pastel, they are moderately hard and do not get dirty in your hands. They are quite pigmented, layer well, and can be used to paint more complex things. They are in no way inferior to Sakura and Van Gogh, and even in many cases better. And the great thing is that they have a set of 12, 24, 48, and this is a great choice. for amateur oil pastels it’s 10 out of 10. 👍❗
They have the worst colors I have ever seen and they are hard as heck. Also, when you wet them, you have to use a ton of water to get them to move. Then, they also get washed out. They suck. I've even tried to just use th as strictly a colored pencil with no water and that is no Bueno. Yuck!

The palette of the 24 pack neopastels is basically perfect imo. Not a single wasted color, the whole color wheel is well represented, and the neutrals are all well chosen. I’ve never bought another small pack of colors and felt like I could live with just that limited number of shades.
I watched it in silence with the subtitles on cause the music in the background is too loud and annoying. That been said, such nice drawings. Is refreshing to see someone doing something other than botanical and landscapes!
Pentel oil pastels are the ones I use because I like the way they work and I LOVE the price! I'm actually primarily a color pencil artist but I do love playing around with pastels from time to time. Very nice work! I subbed for your personality. You are quite entertaining.
I love pencil crayons too! I don't use my pentel set nearly as much as I should lately, what with gifting things being in season. I don’t want to risk the painting fading :/ Maybe next year I'll bust out the pentels again for something

I was watching this with my hair wet and some tea 😌 I’ll miss the oil pastel content, but I’m trying to get into oil painting too, so I think it’ll be fun to watch you learn!
I didn't, no :( I wanted a quick practice with my expressionist on my usual paper as a reference instead of going in blind on Mi-tientes paper-- I dont usually record those kinds of practices
Depending where you are, you can still get col erase in store at some Deserres (open stock and in a set), Walmart, Above Ground,. The prismacolor site still carries the sets. Keep creating 💙💜💛
I think I would have been a lot nicer if I liked a harder pastel like Expressionist, so maybe take that part of the review with a grain of salt. The texture CAN be useful I just don't like it :P
