They finally made an update greatly imrpoving the economy. They made better rewards and also reduced the cost of most things up to a 80%. I always stick to BR2 unless there is a specific piece of BR3 gear I wanna play. I don't like top tier matches, and I like early equipment more, plus I don't find it fair to be using BR3 knowing I will be fighting lower tier players.
i started playing roughly 2 weeks ago and i immediately made the decision to mostly stick with br 1 and 2 i preffer the bolt action gameplay to a mass flurry of automatic weapons like the fedorov and god knows what else , a single squad with smgs on the enemy time isnt horrible but half a team is horrific
same here, i do however think that high br can be fun as well, if one gets in the mood for some fast paced gameplay, (which i tend to get a lot) high br can be very fun. If you would like some faster paced gameplay compared to low br but still layed back, i would suggest br 3. it introduces the first powerful semi auro rifles such as the M1 garand, gewehr 41, SVT 38 etc. these are much more powerfull in close quarters whilst still maintaining a slower paced game compared to high br. same technically goes for BR 4 but that can be uptiered into BR 5 and then it loses the point. Not to mention that BR 3 can access all maps that would otherwhise be locked to either BRs 1&2, or 4&5. Also there are a lot of iconic weapons that are found in BR 3.
I really love to hate this game, when its fun it's brilliant, when matches are equally matched its amazing. When you get a very bad match up or uptiered you kinda just wanna rip your hair out and go That's all folks!
I disagree with your first point. Br3 is more historically accurate because you never know who you are up a against in war and those weapons are common in all eras. And you can play in br 3 without having br 3 weapons but mostly br 2. It's all about how you set up your soldiers. Also the game is pretty balanced I've played with br 2 weapons but had 1 weapon that bumped me up to br 3 and actually matched me in a br 4 game and have won.

I think the thing Enlisted does good is that it covers the entirety of WW2, like every aspect. Whether it be the all the vehicles from Tank, Planes and Trucks to motorcycles and a literal Train, the building, fortifying and digging mechanics, or all the different weapons, bunkers and all the campaigns. The only thing I dont like about Enlisted is how money hungry it is.
The thing about enlisted is how unique it is. The AI brings brings more interesting interactions and differentiate the meta from other fps game. Rifles are not picked for how fast or powerful they are, rather for their mag size, reload speed, and sight. Lmgs are favored more compared to other games just because of their damage. Snipers can be Snipers without worrying about balance. Even if the players hate the game they will still play it just because it's unique. And because of the hate, no publisher would attempt a game like this (except indies ofcourse).
I'm playing br 3 and tend to mostly get into br 1 I think that's extremely unfair to br 1 However being at br 3 qnd getting out into br 4 or 5 tends to not even be an issue either all I see is generally just better Armour like tigers Br 3 should not fight br 1 at all as it generally is unfair f9r br 1 players

I don’t think the br system works every single game I went into I was fighting dudes with the is or tiger 2 while me and other people are using br 1 vehicles and squads it’s dumb
I use replay mod, because my laptop cant handle screen recording whilst actually playing the game. Its just too laggy to watch so because of that my alternative is to use the replay mod, as a result it doesent show certain animations or zoom in when shooting, also the grenade throwing animation doesnt work, but atm its all i got. thanks for watching!
I highly recommend it because its the most fun I have had with a game since Battlefield 1. Its entirely possible to grind out the game free to play as a casual player, but If you actually enjoy the game and play regularly get the premium time when its on sale half off and get the battlepass when it resets (it gives you your currency invested back as you complete it, so you can pay once and complete it every time and not have to pay more). Go for Engineers first thing so you can build ammo boxes and rally points to get XP from helping your team. Rally points and engineers are the most important thing for every battle.
I have been playing enlisted for a year roughly on and off. It is…meh For new players the game is just fucking brutal and so unfair, you will be fighting guys with assault rifles when you only have a bolt action rifle. The AI is terrible like, it’s not even functional to standard set back in 2010 it is embarrassing, guns feel, disgusting and the way the people you shoot just ragdoll makes it feel like there is no real weight behind your gun like getting a headshot should feel satisfying I should be blowing half their head off but instead you get the worst headshot dink ever and they just flop. This game needs a lot of work but it is fun when you get late game and can just cycle smg and assault rifle squads cause you can actually fight back :)
The graphics? Am I the only one who can see the blurriness of everything in this video? I'm NOT talking to just ENLISTED but also WAR THUNDER. Yeah sure you can say it's RU-vid's compression quality but I've played both games on ULTRA graphics and it has the worst blurry graphics/textures ever. TAA/FXAA but even if you have it off, the clouds itself just a pain in the eyes. Call of Duty doesn't even have this kind of terrible crap. Other rival games don't have this issue as well. The UI of the game is still stuck on Windows 7 style mode.
I played that game was coz my friend play it, i personally left after I kinda don't like idk how to explain it but the gunplay kinda "floaty" its like theres no weight or somethint missing for me at least.
The low rewards, unbalanced BRs and uptiers, losing streaks, inability to pick maps, are all DELIBERATE design decisions to monetise frustration. They won’t be fixed because they’re not flaws. They want you to pay money to skip the grind. And like gambling, loosing streaks only result in addicted players trying ‘one more match’ to get a win. I had a 27 game loss streak in WT once. It’s by design. If you value your sanity, don’t play anything associated with Gaijin.
Most points seem pretty good here. One thing I disagree with is germans being able to choose eastern vs western front. I am pretty sure it would make matchmaking even worse, as atm the matchmaker can balance the german teams around the american and soviet teams, which wouldn't work as well if people can limit that. If for example german teams would prever the eastern front then american teams might end up with a lot of bot matches again, as I don't think there's a lot of people playing the japanese compared to the other factions and playing on a map you don't prefer is way better than playing against mindless bots imo. The differences in which side is winning is often probably more based on which faction is currently played by a lot of people, rather than equipment I think, regarding the balance between factions point. Yes they are somewhat connected, but I think fun new toys are more relevant than pure power of a faction here. Interestingly I have a very different BR III experience than you atm. Even when uptiered I tend to do really well. Not as well as when down tiered, but atm my biggest problem there is not knowing the maps that well yet (Only been playing up to BR III since the update for now and used to play only moscow), rather than the eqiupment. Tho I find you don't face BR V to often. I haven't seen a single BR V tank in my pz 4 yet for example. I think I still prefer the BR +-1 idea, where the server chooses a BR for a match and tries to fill with people from that BR and can use at most 1 higher or lower in BR to fill the remaining slots. Tho your idea sounds very reasonable too and would prolly work well.
My only problem with this game is that I've been playing usually an hour or two every day, and have been researching the Bren Gun for nearly 2 weeks. (only about 3/4 researched still)
I think the vehicle gameplay is around a 7/10 due to it being so stupidly easy to destroy them. All it takes is to throw what is essentially a hand grenade. You basically just have to sit at the back of the map as an artillery gun.
Yes it is true that it is very easy to kill vehicles in close to medium range, however imagine if that wasnt the case, it would be more realistic as a game, but the way that enlisted works would make tanks more dominant on the battlefield then they already are, if you couldnt have a viable and easy and skillfree way to kill tanks, they would make games mostly quit unplayable, so YES, it is not very realistic that tanks can be blown up so easily, but its for the better as remember, this is an infantry based game, meaning that if you want to be a real and helpful teammate for your team, you should play infantry, so that you can build rallies and play the objective. For greyzone tanking there arent any straight foreward solutions as all of them come with their drawbacks. anyways hope this explains why it is so easy to destroy tanks
@@Pandacorps that makes sense, and I understand that this is an infantry game, but I really like tanks, and love to research and learn about them. The reason id rather play enlisted tank combat than war thunder tank combat is that there are infantry, and half of tank combat is supporting infantry. I totally understand the whole balancing thing, it’s just that it can be annoying at times 🤷♂️
Ehhh, I literally quit the game over the faction issue you so casually dismissed. Why is it acceptable for one faction to win every game for a few months, then have things swap? Instead of having the highest rank players swapping teams all the time to stomp depending on events, they should actually work on the match making. I'd rather wait longer for a match that's more equal in skill and rank than keep getting trash lobbies that are one sided. Probably can't be done because there aren't enough players. Snail greed wins again.
Enlisted tank gameplay is amongst the worst, not the best, while its nice that you play from inside the tank, they get stuck very easily (a small bush can and will slow you down let alone a tree trough which a tank can drive no problem, but no you will get completely stopped), HE shells behave like AP, basically 0 damage, there isnt even an overpressure mechanic implemented, HE Shapnel is like the normal HE just deals a bit more damage, AP damage when you penetrate a tank is non existant, since it looks like 70-80 grams of TNT dosent explode at all (and for some shells its even more than 70-80 grams). If you ask anyone, War Thunder is much better game when it comes to realism in tank on tank or tank on infantry combat.
Gaejin has a thing for authentic recorded sounds. Many games used to but dont put in the effort anymore (battlefield, COD, many zombie games). You can actively pick out the huge quality difference in doing so. Where the sounds are great, its actual recordings. Where the sound is gross, its something they couldn't get ahold of.
The "free to play" concept is broken. It's just not free at all. I suffered Warthunder and WoW's for too long and they're the same basic model. You might be actually play the game for free, but to do any good, not die from the interminable grind, or even manage to enjoy the game, reduce the frustration, you have to spend money. And that in itself is OK, they have a right to make some money, and to pay the staff, it's the obscene amounts they rip you off that's the problem. In WT, one single digital representation of a vehicle, a bunch of pixels often copied from an already existing model can cost twice as much (in real money) as two complete "AAA" games. BR is also an issue in WT, both in "power creep" and their practice of deliberately adding new vehicles at obviously too low a BR, in order to feed the "FoMo" (Fear of missing out) of the player base, encouraging players to avoid the extra grind and just pay money. As soon as I saw that Gaijin was the publisher of Enlisted, I said "no thanks" and never even tried it. Your comments on BR, Balance and Maps are just like somebody talking about WT.. so my decision seems valid.

I loved Enlisted before the campaign merger. Now you have early-war stuff being absolutely roflstomped by late-war stuff. They tried to even this out with the Battle Rating system, where BR 1-2 was early war and BR 3-5 was late war. The problem is that even one semiautomatic firearm can be enough to bump you into the late war lobbies where you won't even stand a chance. They tried doing this because allegedly the playerbase was too small to support the number of campaigns they had, but from what I've seen they've pissed off more people than they would have gained.
i like the gyroscopic aiming in enlisted, playing on the ps5 and aiming with a mixture or stick and gyro means that I (someone who doesn't play many fps games) can get very accurate pretty easily.
sometimes if i find a spot for a rally that needs to be hidden but theres no places like a building such as if i need to flank i dig down with a shovel and dont put down sandbags, its harder to see but its not as protected.
Game is terrible. Cant pick modes, cant pick maps, grind is unbearble to force you to pay, controls are wonky, and many MANY other issues. Only good thing is its free to play unless you were foolish enough to get swindled for $20 on steam 😂
