I have a 1000' grass runway on my property that is at 600' msl. I would love to know if this could be operated out of a field this size? It has trees approximately 50' tall at the ends. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Ask Manfred Ruhmer. This is a glider. The missing linl between awfully expensive top gliders and very rough hanggliders. You can thermal in a closer circle, land or take off from very small lands, it allows slow speed. You can carry it without a big team. What the point with gliding, stop trying to be smart and buy yourself a jet !

@@licencetoswill During the first viewing of a video, the viewer has no info as to what the content will be, both visual and sound, so a viewer has to view the whole piece, including listening to the sound, till the video finishes. How can I know that a few minutes in, the video poster may have began speaking about his efforts? [He doesn't.] Happily, his follow up videos had sound that I found to be more pleasant. And thanks for educating me, about me being able to control the volume. I'm not as smart as you, and I never would have known that without your kindness.

Nice video !! Are there any good used swifts for sale in the United States ? How much $ do they cost new? I suppose shipping to the USA would be out of the question. Is training available in the United States? I have 2000 hrs in a Fledgling 2b over the Wasatch range in Utah.
