I appreciate when trained musicians and actual professionals cover these beatbox videos but I think what's even more special here is the presence and comments of Bass Ventura, a pro beatboxer who is really into the scene, someone who can give great context and background for the beatboxers and sounds featured in beatbox videos and not just some fans who don't know what they're talking about
Wait, where's the reaction? 👀😅 Which of you is the pro vocalist? Where's the analysis/reaction? The fact that dude sat through the entire performance with little to no visceral reaction was astounding.
30:38 I didn't even ever notice it this way!! I guess it all just sounds perfect like this so beatboxers naturally go for frequencies that make this happen? Edit: from experience let's say with lip oscillation you can easily feel where you're hitting the cleanest note. It makes sense you're making something line up, just of course takes even more exploring and practise with stuff like inward bass. I did find vocal bass super responsive as well, a lot easier to go in the right direction with the sound right from the get-go. Every now and then you feel like you find an even cleaner note and vibration without much effort.
