What are the sonographic measurements or criteria used to diagnose hydrocephalus in newborn/infants? @Jeff or any of the authors?
@PediatricUSMultisiteConference
At Children's Colorado - For preterm infants, we use the ventricular index data from Brouwer et al "New reference values for the neonatal cerebral ventricles". For older children, i.e. 6 month old presenting with macrocrania, I am not aware of good normal values for ventricular size in this population, but open to suggestions!
