If you think about it, Anakin could just come out and say that the empire had held him captive and tortured him for 2 decades and lied to the public that he was dead until Luke found and saved him. He could say the torture is the reason he’s disfigured.
That's a logical and possible cover up story, but I don't think it would work if you wanted write a redemption ark for Anakin by deception that would just makes him a different kind of bad, i would love it if the story goes like Joshua Graham from fallout, he used to be the general of the villain but later didecated his entire life to destroy the master and the order he served, but hearing your suggestion i can't help imagining Luke telling his father this to make him stay, all in all it's pretty good.
So the entire skywalker bloodline is dead now but only the Jedi ones have force ghosts and can still interact with each other poor Anakin still doesn’t get to see his mother

I wish they would’ve done Lucas’s idea, the Disney sequels were so bad and had so many flaws, too many to count. And with Lucas being 80 by the time I’m writing this, most everything Star Wars related will be with Disney, so I hope if an episode X comes out in the future, Disney learns from their mistakes and makes a good trilogy
I’m not gonna lie I thought this was a sick sick idea and I remember they used to have this type of lightsaber but why did they give it to the green pea? That is the wife of the Director ? It’s so funny if you mention a man around her, she’ll use her Powers to show her true form, Darth Plegas watch this is what they’re gonna do. They’re so fucking stupid. It’s so easily able to see where they’re gonna go. They’re going on a pattern. Anything that comes from Disney is not worth my time. It has disappointed me time and time again. I’ll stay with Legends and Pre Disney thanks. Also to anyone who says you’ll be forgotten and replaced: The same can be said for the lore you love at the moment. That’s what happens. Change is inevitable. Holding value for something old when it was made, is far harder.
Star Wars is in the hands of fools, void of the sight of its true potential. There is nothing to be excited for. Nothing. Anyone who disagrees is just a shill or disney's sad and tragic demographic which cannot procreate to make a new customer base, for only straight heterosexual couples can do this.
I don't care how it works. A whip is a weapon of a slaver or intimidator of the weak. It's not a proper weapon for a Jedi. And before you bring up Indiana Jones, he used it to swing from place to place, or to disarm people who drew guns on him. A lightsaber whip will not cling to branches to allow for swinging. While I can respect a lightsaber whip cutting a hand off of someone drawing a blaster, it's a shit weapon in a sword fight. The moral calculus of a whip as a weapon is firmly on the side of it being a villainous weapon. Stupid choice for DisneyWars.
It's heavily implied that vernestra is actually evil and hurt Qimir when he was younger so you would be right about the villainous weapon, intimidator of the weak thing. I'm assuming you didn't actually watch the show and want to pander your inane political views but there's some context for you.
