Hello Voyagers! Welcome to our channel - From resort to port, we are always ready to get out of town! Come with us for content featuring DCL - WDW, as well as ports of call and anything else we come up with!
Loved your video ❤I’m a local and you covered a good amount of things for a day visit. Recommendation if you’re open to it, maybe lower the music volume. It’s too loud at time so we can’t hear what you’re saying at times
Happy that you liked San Juan. Book a 2 week trip to Puerto Rico, I'll give you a suggestion for a clockwize trip here, Stay first in an small boutique hotel in Ocean Park for the first 4 nights, visit Old San Juan again, stroll along Isla Verdes beach, explore Condado there are bikes and scooters everywhere to just jump up on. Visit the Bacardi distillery, Visit El Distrito a Friday or Saturday evening, go to La Placita vibrant night life Thursday, Friday or Saturday night. Remember to pick up all brochures etc for the rest of your trip at the Tourist office in Old San Juan Then we leave Eastwards, rent a car and go to an Eco Hotel of your choice in El Yunque rainforest (or maybe in my view a cloud forest) for three nights and just relax. Walk all the trails all the way up to the radio towers and enjoy the views. When leaving, pass Luquillo beach, eat at the Kioskos, then head to El Conquistador for a two night experience with trips to their private island and water park. Continue to Palmas Del Mar and stay two nights at an an AirBnB at any of the complexes or at Wyndham Hotel, rent a golf cart and enjoy a different vibe more family style, 2 golf courses 12 tennis courts, 8 pickleball courts. Eat at any of the restaurants at Palmanova Plaza, example Las Ramblas, or at La Pescaderia, have a drink at the bar at the Yacht Club. Then drive the coastal road south towards Guayama and Ponce, but stop first at El Nuevo Horizonte and enjoy a beer though. Stay at some place in Ponce for a night and don't miss their Art Museum and check out as well the Castillo Serralles. Leave super early and go further west to visit Gilligan Island, be very early as island filsl up , tehre are small boats that takes you back and forth for a couple of bucks, all organized but lone can be long later at the day bring a cooler with all you need, there is not food or drink service on this tiny island, bring snorkel and mask. After Gillingan Island stay either at Copa Marina just there where you are and do kayaking in the mangroves or continue to La Parguera and enjoy some nice local life, lot of small boats there, very good place for advanced diving, stay at some simple inn, have a beer and play some billiard and take a trip and see the fluorescent bay .Then continue to Combate Beach in Cabo Rojo and see the salt beds and the cliffs with the Lighthouse, beautiful beaches and views. Have a stay over in Boqueron and enjoy the beach there, or Buye Beach. Pass Joyuda up on way to Rincon and eat fresh fish there at a restaurant with a porch hanging over the sea where you feed the tarpons. Then to Rincon for a couple of nights in pure relaxed surf style. On way to San Juan stop in Isabela for some beach again, then a visit to the Caves in Quebrada (Parque Nacional de las Cavernas del Río Camuy). If you feel adventurous there is Parque el Toro in the mountains with zip line, rappelling and all that stuff. And several tour operators that takes you out on hikes. There are many small waterfalls that you only find if you take it easy and search for them on a map like Gozalandia... And of course hundreds of small restaurants and bars in the mountain areas everywhere. And let's not talk about the Lechon area in Guavate where you eat lechon (whole roasted pig) in any of many restaurants. This is just a small glimpse of what Puerto Rico can offer... enjoy
HI, love your glasses. New to your videos, so will have a look at a few but 3 minutes in to this one I had to mute it. The weird, off key music is just far too distracting, even more so when having to listen so hard to her what your saying.
@@rachaelfilby9486 yes sorry this is when we were first making videos, we have learned so much since then about editing and don’t put the music so loud anymore! The glasses are from Tokyo Disney and they are my favorite!
This is like being in the fifteen and sixteen century. You dont need a time machine. San Juan is the oldest city of America. You dont need too see a movie of Sir Fracis Drake considering that he atacked San Juan several times to get the gold of the city.
The video says, "Brightline to Walt Disney World". The video ends at the Orlando airport Brightline station. Where is the part about getting to Disney World? I was hoping to see what options were available to get from the train station to the Disney property. Am I missing something here?
You make a great point! We didn’t show or tell about us taking an Uber directly from the Orlando Station to WDW, and we really should have! We’re a small channel making videos because we enjoy it, and definitely appreciate a constructive criticism. Hope you enjoyed something about the video in spite its flaws ❤️
@@VoyagerReview I plan to visit Disney next year and I want to take Brightline to Orlando. I asked a Brightline employee how to get from their station to the theme park. They didn't know. I need to make sure the details are clear BEFORE heading out. I was hoping your video was going to assist me. My apologies if I sounded rude; that was not my intent. Thank you for your content and good luck with future videos.
@@jamesquivey1538 oh you didn’t sound rude at all! And actually we really appreciate the feedback. Besides Uber, you can also take mears connect from the airport to Disney (their bus service) but Uber is cheaper, you don’t have to set it up ahead of time. Do you have a big family you’re traveling with? Are you excited about going?
@@VoyagerReview If he can get his visa, I will be taking a Thai friend. He's never been to an amusement park, never ridden a roller coaster. His dream is to meet Mickey Mouse. I doubt he's been on a train before. This will be a dream come true for him.
I know I forgot my bathing suit and regretted it big time when I saw that fun splash pad. The beach is sooo beautiful. I hope seeing some other reviews doesn’t make you feel discouraged about going. They had the cutest merch there too! What ship are you going on if you don’t mind me asking?
I’m not discouraged at all! I think with this being our first cruise ever we are just going to be rolling with it all! We are going on the Magic June 27-July 1st 😊
Still has the Epcot futuristic vibe! I understand the negativity around CommuniCore Hall and its simplicity. Do we deserve more, yes! But what we got is still great!
Some suggestions for next time. Don’t wear black, use light colors and light fabrics to walk around Old SJ, you’ll feel the difference with the heat. La Mallorquina is the traditional place for mallorcas, and Barrachina is the birth place of Pina Colada. Tour El Convento Hotel. The patio bar is great for drinks, and it’s historical ambience is beautiful. Tour San Cristobal Fort. It’s smaller than El Morro, but I’ve always felt it was much more interesting since it housed and fed the garrisons. If you can, walk the streets of Old SJ at dusk. Thursday thru Sunday you can enjoy local party vibes and a great drink at La Vergüenza and the alley it’s adjacent to., plus the view from the 2nd story terrace is amazing! The best light for touring Old SJ is dusk, and when the street and house lights start coming on it can be magical. Have a meal at The Cannon Club if you want to feel what it could have been like when the colonial Spanish elite made their homes their. Just a few of the many things you can do in a day.
These tips are amazing!!! Thank you so much. We just went there a couple weeks again and did see the smaller fort, so impressive. We did try Barrachina but haven’t heard of the cannon club. Next time we go we will definitely take your tips thank you so much for sharing so other people know what to do! We are San Juan novices and hoping to see and do more there when we go back so thank you thank you!
Waooo TACOS that’s new in Puerto Rico since that’s authentic Mexican cuisine, I asked and I was told that they incorporate the Mexican tacos in the puertorican cuisine , because tourist requested, but that’s no puertorican dish
I didn’t hear them say that they thought tacos were Puerto Rican. Every Puerto Rican food they were in search of they mentioned specifically like the Mallorca and such. It just seems like they were reviewing the bar. It seems like common knowledge that tacos are Mexican
Hi, 🐕🐶🐕May I share the most important news you will ever hear? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
@BenMerDoneThat yay! excitement for this cruise is definitely "thru the roof" really hoping everything is open and ready for us to preview also I'm sure well get new updates for Lookout Cay very soon!
They picked us up at around 830 and then we stopped at I believe one other All Star resort and then went straight to Port Canaveral. Generally they try to fill the coach before heading to the Port When you book DCL transportation you are given a much earlier Port Arrival Time, and so as soon as we arrived we were able to go inside! We were boarding group 9 for this cruise but did not wait long at all for our group to be called, they were very efficient that day!
Its wrong la mayorca is not the best in bakery. Since it is expensive, they sell everything that is not fresh. I always tell tourists to leave San Juan and try other better and cheaper places.
Yeah we are going again in may and venturing out. It’s difficult because of timing on a cruise ship but we are staying a few days in May and I’m looking forward to it. Anywhere you’d you’d recommend for food or pastries? Would love to hear more from people who know the place better
Saludos!🇵🇷
thank you for coming and visiting our Island we love you and we love you please when you come visit other beautiful places that Puerto Rico has like Fajardo naguabo luquillo guabate has beautiful beaches there are many fascinating places in Puerto Rico where you can Have a good timeI recommend that you rent a car to save money where you can go to different places yourself. You can also rent a house in the countryside or in the city, which is much more economical than staying in a hotelYou can visit the green bull, which is a line where you jump and that is more than a mile long, the largest in the world. The Bacardin factory is where the piña colada was made for the first timeThere is a little town called Naguabo which is on the east coast next to the beach and there the fishermen bring their merchandise, they buy everything fresh and the experience of eating good seafood is something extraordinaryMany times when they are driving a car on the highway you will see that they have different businesses where they sell roast chicken, they sell different types of food and the delicious foods.
