You are absolutely correct! However we don’t leave our dogs unsupervised on grooming tables. We also start table training at 3 weeks of age. So by this age they are very comfortable and aware of the edge. But we still never walk away out of sight. 💕
Good for u. Just last nite I ground 100 lbs chicken leg quarters for the 25 stray/ abandoned/ feral cats that come for meals. Been doing this for 6 years.
That looked AWSOME! Wish you included a rough recipe though! SOOOO many of us want to do better by our four legged kids. Personally, I gather dozens of the best rated recipes I can find on the net and use an "average" of them all, but I'm always looking to see what OTHER people are doing. I put SO many animals down prematurely when I was a kid due to cancer. My childhood was one big heartbreak. The ONLY commonality was diet. Who knew? We believed Purina and the others had the best interest of our animals at heart, but they knew THEN what they were really doing, so why trust them NOW?! Gonna go explore OneFiTK9.com Thanks!
Robert Genovese Unfortunately those companies just have their pockets interest in mind. There was a dog treat that was poisoning and killing some dogs. The maker didn’t take it off the market because they claimed their tests showed it safe. We use some kibble with home made treats and raw. The kibble is made all in the USA from human grade food. We are slowly switching to just raw. We need a grinder, which is now unavailable. Would you believe the COVID wiped out all the grinders, insane.
Best to keep it 25% of their body weight or under. Over that we recommend a weight pulling harness. 15% is a nice weight to drag over distance if you’re looking to build quality muscle and endurance.
Yes, I max out my crew’s vest at 6% of their bodyweight. When I want more from their workouts I reach for the accessories or up their reps. If you need more help hit us up on Instagram @onefitk9
Sorry I miss this comment! I love how YouTude does NOT alert you! They are wearing the XS- My boys are 20 & 23 lbs hit me up on IG @1coolpip I can help you further.
Trae UCity i believe they instruct you to have your dog wear the vest for a week with no weights to make sure it’s a good fit and comfort. That’s probably why they say you can use it right away, you just need to add the weight a week after. You shouldn’t start with the weight on.
you have inspired me to get bk into doing something with my little all-american rescue dog here. Granted it's not exactly this, but it's something for the both of us to hopefully enjoy. CAT. She loves the chase and I swear she has some sighthound in her so going to give it a go. TY for the inspiration to become active once more in the dog world. Dog people are the best! Best of Luck to the both of you! But first and foremost have fun, enjoy Pip...which w/o a doubt you currently are doing. *grins*
