Same here, great for heavy crops. The Broughan was filled after two swathes. Whereas the Supercube took double that. And the tandem version is ideal because you could use the same size of tractor that was on the Broughan to haul it.
Did he keep the 970 or trade in for that one? Bit of a backward step losing that much power even if there's more peace of mind with warranty and backup now
He’s getting on really well but they are small swards, we had a tarrup 106 like that and it wasn’t great to pick up a heavy crop the intake is to small
I agree, I also saw it in a bigger field after and it didn't have the same output as e.g a JF would. Although when they went into partnership with Kverneland they did make a bigger pick-up which was the 10X. However I think Taarup were better at making double chops whereas JF were better at making pick-ups.
Lovely video Anthony. I enjoy watching farm’s making their own silage where the machinery isn’t massive but still makes a good job. Long time since I’ve seen a Tarrup precision chop and the old Zetor 2wd on the trailers is a lovely old classic. Enjoyed the video so subscribed.
Thank you David, a neighbour of mine was at it. They do all of they're second cut silage with it. It's my first time seeing it work in the flesh and did a great job. And the Zetor was well able to keep up with the output from the Case. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for subscribing.
