So I just signed a contract to sell my home. I’m paying the buyer’s agent’s commission. My market is a buyer’s market. I’m moving to a seller’s market. I’m afraid I’m going to end up paying the buyer agent commission again! This is an absolute mess no matter how you sugarcoat it.

Make sure whoever your agent is on your purchase is aware of the current rules (they are changing daily) As of this moment, all you need to do is make sure your agent write into your offers that the seller is to pay X amount towards your buyers agents compensation. It can be a portion or all of it. Everything is negotiable.
